I have been teaching English as a private tutor for the past 2 years. Through my teaching experience I also learnt that every student's needs and struggles are different. I enjoyed sharing knowledge with my students and watching them gain confidence in holding conversations in English and in their reading and writing was very fulfilling. Explaining ideas in ways that make them easier to understand is something that I delight in.I would describe my teaching style as kind, fun and patient. My goal as a teacher is to meet the requests of the students and understand what they aim to achieve so the the lessons are customized to the student's concerns. I teach pronunciations, engineering terminology, grammar and will focus on conversational skills. I do not give homework and I normally do not prepare for lessons.

Hi, I am Julie. I started teaching English nine months ago and I love meeting people from around the world. I am a very helpful, bubbly and kind teacher. I teach students who are seeking to relocate, go on holiday or even learn the language for leisure. I enjoy listening and helping students achieve their goals. I am a native English and Swahili Speaker.

Do you want to improve your Swahili speaking and comprehension skills? I am a native Swahili speaker. I am also experienced in tutoring for school and college students. I can customize the lessons based on the students' requirements.

I am used to working with people of different ages. I believe in segmentation, visualization of progress, objective results and practice.

The design of my lessons is varied, follows current scientific findings on language acquisition and implements the demands of modern foreign language didactics in teaching practice.

I pay particular attention to the following aspects: Development of communicative and pragmatic language skills through a systematic, progressive development of linguistic skills and in particular through the active use of language.
