Lessons for all levels - professional accordion player willing to share knowledge and love for music
From 42.84 £ /h
Hi! I am an accordion teacher and a professional accordion player. Throughout my teaching career, I was working with students of different ages. At the University of Linz, I chose pedagogy (as an elective module) where I had the opportunity to work with children in a group and in individual classes. I was also giving many private lessons to academy students. After teaching in a music school in Prijepolje I have started teaching at the music school “Dr Miloje Milojević” in Kragujevac, where I currently work with children aged 8 to 19.
I have a lot of patience in my classes with students and I primarily try to convey to them love for music and then everything else necessary for their progress. I am also creative in finding different solutions when it comes to solving problems. Also, knowing how much stress learning music can cause sometimes, I believe that with support and experience-based advice, I can help eliminate or reduce these problems.
I teach both button and piano accordion.

About Me
I was born in 1991 in Kragujevac, Serbia, where I finished primary, secondary and higher education. After that, I enrolled in the master degree program at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, in the class of professor Alfred Melichar. Further improving my musical skills, I finished postgraduate studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, in the class of professor Janne Rättyä.
I had competed in all major accordion competitions and won many of them. Amongst many of my achievements, there are first prizes won on "Premio Internazionale della Fisarmonica di Castelfidardo" in Italy, the "Australian International Accordion Championship" and "The 33rd Harbin Summer Music Festival in China".
I had taken part in many seminars led by major accordion artists, such as Yuri Shishkin, Matti Rantanen and Vladimir Besfalminov. Also, I had been a part of many projects, both solo and with other ensembles, most notable of which is the Kokoro duo. I was the recipient of the "Edith Rebhahn" scholarship for 2016 at Anton Bruckner Private University.
Close collaboration with composers in creating new pieces for accordion resulted in my debut CD called “The Breath” with pieces written exclusively for me.
I am working as a professor of piano and accordion at Music School Prijepolje. During my master studies, I had the opportunity to opt for a module dealing with pedagogy in group and individual teaching. Individual pedagogical approaches took shape in working with children for almost two semesters. My motivation and high standards of professional performance resulted in a host of international awards and recognitions as well as the opportunity to host concerts for my students.
