Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of teaching students from diverse nationalities and backgrounds. I have worked with students from various schools, including local Hong Kong schools, Hong Kong International School, Kowloon Junior International School, and the French International School etc.

I am adaptable and capable of teaching students with different personalities, whether they are highly energetic or more reserved. My primary goal is to instill a passion for music in the next generation, helping students not only grow as musicians but also as confident performers.

I have guided many students to success in ABRSM exams, from Grade 1 to Grade 8, including the latest online exam format. I have played the violin for over 20 years and am currently doing a master ́s of music in violin. Music is my passion, I have been teaching violin for 5 years, in music schools as well as privately from the ages of 7 to 60.
My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding.

Hallo, my name is Chloe Slane, and I am currently finishing my degree in college right now studying abroad in Berlin. I have played the viola since I was 8 years old, and started on the violin at 6. I am currently getting both a music degree in Viola Performance and a Philosophy degree, in a 5-year Double Major Program through a school in New York. I will be in Berlin for the whole school year & most of the summer, so if you are interested and cheap & easy lessons for your kids to learn some more, I am happy to help out! I am an advanced level, have been playing for about 12-13 years, and it has become one of my main professions in life, so it is very much a skill of mine. Although I am young, I love helping and teaching kids as well, as it sparks interest in many!
