About Me

I’m Florentine, and I teach Italian — the purest and most musical language there is. Since 2012, I’ve also been practicing and teaching Ashtanga Yoga, a discipline that unites breath, strength, and awareness — just like the words of the Italian language.

I was born in Florence (Italy) 39 years ago and I have been teaching my own mother tongue pure Italian language ever. I started teaching Italian 12 years ago. I worked for private language schools in Madrid when I was living there. I teach children and adults, group and private lessons. My lessons are tailored to fit the level and the needs of my students. I always make sure that my students are in a positive environment and feeling properly. My, is the funny and easy way to learn and speak Italian.

I have a great interest in the holistic view of yoga. This is why I strive to include in my classes different elements that make up the practice of yoga.

To describe my classes to you, I would say that they are sequenced around a flow, with additions of pranayama and breathing techniques, mantras, meditation, sometimes songs in Sanskrit and other techniques depending on the level of my students (bandhas, mudras ...)

I teach Hatha yoga, Vinyasa and Yin yoga.

Also, I really like the relationship between yoga and sounds. Most of the time, I offer sessions with music.
In Vinyasa, I use it to make the flow even more fluid and in Yin, the sounds accompany us to help in the stillness of the poses and because I deeply believe in the healing power of sound.

To create a perfect atmosphere I also have different music playlists for each type of sequence and some incense sticks or essential oils are always included to make these yoga times a holistic experience.
I teach in German and English and easily adapt the sequences to the needs of the participants so that everyone feels safe, has fun and enjoys it.
