Math for Kids (Ages 6–13): Confidence, Understanding, and Joy

Hello! My name is Stella. I have two university degrees: one in Clinical Psychology and one in Engineering Mathematics. This rare combination helps me see not just the numbers, but also how a child's mind works — where they struggle, why they feel stuck, and how to gently guide them forward.

I specialize in teaching children aged 6 to 13. Whether your child is just starting with basic arithmetic, needs support with fractions, pre-algebra, or geometry, or simply needs to build confidence in math — I'm here to help.

Lessons are conducted in Russian, but all mathematical terms are explained in English as well — this helps children easily navigate international textbooks (Common Core) and prepares them for future bilingual learning environments.

More than 10 years of teaching experience, including 5 years fully online. I work with students from all over the world from my base in Cyprus.

About Me

Hello! I'm Stella.

I’ve always been fascinated by two things: how numbers work and how people think. That’s why I became both an Engineer-Mathematician and a Clinical Psychologist. These two paths may seem different, but together they give me a unique perspective on teaching. I don’t just explain formulas — I see how a child’s mind processes information, where it gets stuck, and how to gently guide it forward.
