The TU Delft Aerospace Engineering Bachelor is one of the most prestigious bachelor programmes the Netherlands has to offer. As it is highly sought-after by students all around the globe, there is a highly competitive selection procedure which needs to be completed to get admitted to this popular degree. A major part of this admission procedure is the selection exam, consisting of three different tests: Mathematics, Physics and First-Year Material.

As a cum laude graduate Aerospace Engineer at TU Delft, who has also been tutoring since 2017, I have a lot of experience and knowledge of the program to help you out with the right preparation to get in. Over the last four years, I have helped tens of students secure a spot! Moreover, I offer a free personalised lesson plan for each student, which is fully based on the admission syllabus and past exams, to ensure an even higher chance of admission for each student.

With my calm and stepwise explanation, weaker topics will be addressed, and your solution procedures will become more effective and accurate. Each lesson will either be theory, exercise-based or an opportunity to talk about the admission, student life, the city of Delft, what to expect from the study and whether it is the right fit for you.

I teach Electrical and Electronic Engineering online to university students, postgraduates, college students and serious self learners across the UK and Europe. Lessons are in English.

I hold an MSc in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with Distinction and I teach as a Visiting Lecturer on a Master's level module at a UK university. I also work as a freelance electronics engineer, designing circuit boards and writing firmware for real clients, and I have two accepted international conference papers. I set and mark university assignments myself, so I know where marks are won and lost on lab reports, coursework and project write ups.

Who this is for

Undergraduates on electrical, electronic, mechatronic or general engineering degrees at any European university. Final year, Master's and thesis students working on an engineering project. A Level, IB and college students taking physics or engineering. Career changers and self taught learners who want the fundamentals done properly rather than picked up from scattered videos.

I work with students on UK, IB and continental European programmes. An unfamiliar syllabus or a module structured differently from the UK is not a problem. Send me the material and I will work from it.

What we cover

Circuit analysis in DC and AC, including Kirchhoff's laws, Thevenin and Norton equivalents, superposition, phasors and AC power. Operational amplifiers and analogue electronics. Digital electronics and logic design. Signals and Systems and Digital Signal Processing, covering Fourier analysis, Laplace and z transforms, sampling and filter design. Control systems, transfer functions, root locus, Bode plots, stability and PID tuning. Semiconductor devices and power electronics. Embedded systems and microcontroller programming in C with Arduino, ESP32 and PIC. Simulation and tooling including MATLAB, Simulink, LTspice, Multisim and Proteus. Circuit board design in KiCAD. Lab reports, coursework, project supervision and exam technique.

How lessons work

Send me your lecture notes, assignment brief, lab sheet or the circuit that refuses to work, and I plan the session around it before we meet. Nothing generic.

Most students are stuck on one or two specific ideas rather than a whole module, so the first job is finding out which. Then we work through it with proper worked examples and real circuit diagrams, and I hand the problem back to you while I watch and correct, because you learn far more doing it than watching me do it.

If the real gap is the maths underneath a topic, complex numbers, phasors, Laplace transforms, we go back and fix that first, because everything after it depends on it.

You finish each session with annotated notes and a clear next step, and you can message me between lessons with questions.

Practical details

Lessons are online over Google Meet or Zoom, with screen sharing and a shared whiteboard so we can draw circuits and work through derivations together. Sessions run 60 or 90 minutes. Evenings and weekends available across European time zones.

Tell me your module, your deadline and exactly where you are stuck, and I will come back with a plan for the first session.

define the problem → understand the requirements → analyze the constraints → develop the geometry or data structure → create the drawing, model, or spatial analysis → verify accuracy → refine the solution → communicate it clearly

I do not simply demonstrate isolated commands. I help you understand why a workflow is appropriate, how information should be structured, how accuracy can be verified, how alternative solutions can be evaluated, and how the final technical idea should be communicated professionally.

We can work with your course syllabus, engineering problem, technical drawing, CAD file, Revit/BIM model, 3D model, parametric definition, GIS dataset, map, design project, portfolio, graphic layout, or professional workflow challenge.

Whether you are learning your first CAD commands, solving an engineering problem, developing a BIM workflow, building a 3D or parametric model, conducting spatial analysis, or improving technical visual communication, I will adapt the sessions to your level, objectives, and pace.

My goal is to help you become an independent technical problem solver who can analyze, design, model, verify, visualize, and communicate solutions with confidence.

As a civil engineer with an EPFL degree, I have been working in a design office since 2020: excavations, retaining walls, foundations, numerical modeling, and site supervision. I mentor junior engineers and interns in this role, and I write reports explaining these calculations to clients who are not engineers.

I support students from EPFL, HES and vocational schools in the branches that filter: statics, strength of materials, reinforced concrete, soil mechanics and foundations.

We work on your past exams and series. For geotechnics and foundations, I show you how these calculations are actually carried out in the office and according to which standards, which makes the material much more understandable than a formula learned by heart.

I also cover technical professional maturity and preparation for admission to a University of Applied Sciences.

Tools I use daily: PLAXIS, GEO5, K-REA, AutoCAD and reading execution plans.

Online courses with a shared whiteboard, or in person in the Neuchâtel region.

Depending on your objectives, practical work may involve AutoCAD, Revit, BIM workflows, Rhino, Grasshopper, SolidWorks, Inventor, 3ds Max, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, Figma, Canva or other relevant technical and design tools.

My teaching approach follows a structured workflow:
define the problem → understand the requirements → analyze the constraints → develop the geometry or data structure → create the drawing, model, or spatial analysis → verify accuracy → refine the solution → communicate it clearly

### Courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Sciences

As an engineering student in **mechatronics and instrumentation**, I offer private lessons tailored to the level and objectives of each student, **from middle school to higher education**.

My approach is progressive, clear, and geared towards understanding. The goal is to enable the student to **understand the concepts, master the problem-solving methods, and gradually gain autonomy**, rather than simply memorizing formulas.

**Mathematics:** algebra, functions, derivatives, integrals, differential equations, matrices, probability and statistics, with exercises adapted to the student's level.

**Physics and Chemistry:** mechanics, electricity, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, waves and physical phenomena, as well as the basics of chemistry. Concepts are explained through examples and concrete applications.

**Mechanics:** kinematics, statics, dynamics, energy, strength of materials, mechanical systems and modeling.

**Electricity and Electrotechnics:** electrical circuits, fundamental laws, direct and alternating current, electrical power, three-phase systems, electrical machines and basics of electrotechnics.

**Electronics:** electronic components, diodes, transistors, amplifiers, analog and digital circuits, as well as the basics of embedded systems.

My background in **mechatronics engineering and instrumentation** allows me to link different disciplines and offer a concrete approach through examples from **industry, automation, mechanical and electrical systems and instrumentation**.

Depending on the needs, the courses can be devoted to **understanding the course material, exercises, preparing for exams and tests, refresher courses or further study**.

Each session is tailored to the student's level in order to gradually build an effective working method and genuine autonomy.
