Welcome to my online Geography classroom! I am a passionate Geography educator with a Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree from Egerton University and over four years of teaching experience.
My lessons focus on helping learners understand the relationship between people and their environment, physical and human geography, weather and climate, landforms, population, natural resources, and environmental conservation.
I also introduce learners to Geographic Information Systems (GIS), a powerful technology used to collect, store, analyse, and display geographical data. Through GIS, learners explore how digital maps and spatial information help solve real-world problems, such as urban planning, environmental management, disaster response, transportation, and resource allocation.
My teaching approach combines clear explanations, real-world examples, map interpretation, practical activities, and interactive discussions. Where appropriate, I incorporate digital mapping tools and GIS applications to help learners develop geographical skills, spatial thinking, and digital literacy.
Whether you are a beginner or looking to deepen your understanding of Geography and GIS, my goal is to make learning engaging, practical, and relevant to everyday life.
Explore the world, understand our environment, and discover the power of geographical technology.
