For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation from the start, including the Hebrew alphabet, pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and the basic structures of the language. For intermediate and advanced students, lessons can focus on fluency, grammatical refinement, reading comprehension, conversation, and more complex linguistic structures.
Students interested in Biblical Hebrew can work directly with Hebrew texts while developing an understanding of vocabulary, morphology, syntax, and recurring grammatical patterns. Students interested in Modern Hebrew can focus more strongly on listening, speaking, reading, and communication in contemporary contexts.
Lessons can also be tailored to specific goals such as travel, academic study, cultural interest, religious studies, reading biblical texts, or developing conversational skills in Modern Hebrew.
My goal is not only to teach vocabulary and grammar, but to help students understand how Hebrew works as a language and gradually develop confidence, independence, and a deeper connection with it.
