Modern slavery, or trafficking in human beings, encompasses forced labour, debt bondage, forced criminality, forced marriage, sexual exploitation, servitude, organ harvesting and more - affecting an estimated 50 million worldwide. It thrives in industries such as agriculture, construction, mining, manufacturing, domestic work, sports, fashion, online calls, local gangs, and is often hidden within global supply chains.
Vulnerable populations - migrants, women and girls, children, and those in extreme poverty - are disproportionately targeted. Perpetrators exploit coercion, deception, and control over identity documents, wages, or movement.
This introductory course outlines the current trends, legislation and frameworks to fight trafficking and untangles the myths of trafficking to help you understand the phenomena.
The tutor has 20+ years experience across policy, policing, justice and academic sectors. Honours in Public Policy and Management and Masters in Social Sciences and Business.

The authenticity of an exchange. In a society increasingly rooted in a competitive approach, where automated exchanges with Artificial Intelligence cannot replace the need for human interaction, this is precisely what we lack.
As a lawyer by training and an independent legal consultant, creating "Le Droit" is a breath of fresh air. This private tutoring program is aimed directly at high school students, undergraduate and graduate law students, and more generally at anyone intrigued by the beauty of legal language (you'll discover it soon enough).

Hello! I’m a law tutor who specialises in Edexcel International A-Level Law — and my goal is to help you truly understand the subject, not just pass the exam. To do that, I bring more than a textbook: I’m also a practicing lawyer with experience in courts, consulting, and private client work. During my studies, I have also taken part in international law competitions, academic conferences, and published legal articles. I often draw on real cases and examples from my own legal practice, so abstract rules become concrete and memorable.
