I earned my M.A. in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language from the American University in Cairo. And I believe my strength point in teaching is to meet the student’s needs.
Earlier on my career, I had a chance of teaching at the Saint Andrews church where I had to come up with my own curriculum that would serve both the rules and regulations of the administration and the students’ anticipations. This was quite an experience where one goes out of the usual textbooks we follow at AUC.
Later on, I have joined the Hedayet Institute for Arabic Studies as well as other institutions to further my experience. In Hedayet, we offer about the same cultural activities as you do i.e. celebrating feasts. We also have cooking lessons, a Kushary day, where students participate in the cooking then enjoy eating.
