About Me
Hi! I'm Natalie, and I'm a 20-year old Politics student currently in my second year at Aberystwyth University. I'm offering tutoring for English (GCSE), Maths (at primary level), History (GCSE) and 11+ entrance exams.
Though I might be young, I'm well-qualified, with 3 A Levels (ABB, History/Latin/Gov't & Politics) and 11 GCSEs (inc. Maths, English Language and English Literature). My education informs my style of teaching; thorough and clear, but always engaging and adaptive. I have experience with most of the major exam boards' course content, including AQA, WJEC and OCR.
I'm originally from Liverpool, and attended The Blue Coat School in Wavertree for my secondary and sixth form education. I come from a disadvantaged background, and this helps me to understand the needs of students struggling with their education, emotions or engagement with others; I believe it is just as important to understand and connect with students as it is to help them achieve their potential.
I tutor both at primary and GCSE level, but I have most experience in tutoring for 11+ exams; my secondary school was a selective grammar school, which I gained entry to in the top band. I am very familiar with the content of these exams and the techniques that can be used to prepare well for them.
Outside of my work and studies, I'm engaged in politics, I like to keep fit and I enjoy a game of chess (this is not to say I win as often as I'd like, however!) Most importantly, I try to enjoy the time I spend doing anything, and I always strive for it to be the same for my students by making enjoyable and engaging lessons for them. My aim is to make hard work feel easy, and I look forward to meeting you to get started!
Education
I am currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Politics in my second year. My formal qualifications are as follows;
- At A Level; A in History, B in Government and Politics, B in Latin
- At GCSE; 11 GCSEs (9-1 grading scheme) including 8 in History and Maths and 6 in both English Language and Literature

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others.

I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

Doctor in political science and graduate in economics (Master), I have been teaching humanities in English and French in various grandes écoles (IEP) and business schools (EDHEC, SKEMA) for more than ten years.

Always respectful of the pace and needs of my students, I help them achieve their goals (preparation of files or entrance exams to high school, validation of exams ...) serenely.

For ten years, my goal has been the same: to help my students to surpass themselves by communicating to them a deep joy of learning.

I suggest you help you refine your file, consolidate your knowledge (general culture, economics or political science) and sharpen your skills (reflection / writing / presentation) so that, rather than arid "tests", your exams become opportunities or occasions to demonstrate your progress.

A typical course is organized as follows:

1- Learning phase in which I present the concepts and ideas to be retained for the course.
2- Applying these concepts to be sure that you have correctly assimilated them.
3- Debrief phase with you.

As I went through a preparatory class for two years, my level in SES is quite respectable. I have already given dozens of hours of lessons to many students who all come out enriched according to their words.

Hello,

This course will aim to give you more or less general elements, depending on your needs, in order to acquire the basics, or deepen your knowledge of Political Science, in particular for the History-Geography, Geopolitics and Political Science course.

In addition, a cross-reference with the methods of philosophical reasoning will allow you to reach a more ultra level of problematization.

Whether you want to prepare for exams, your baccalaureate, the general competition, or a personal publication, I will give you the elements necessary to produce a reflection, with the addition of a little philosophy, in clean, clear language, and well articulated.
There’s no need to be afraid, philosophy is ultimately logic and a few questions.
The gibberish, maraboutage, and unknown mystical languages, very little for us!

I hope to meet you very soon, to share with you my passion, perhaps also yours, of political science, crossed with philosophy!

Learn the methodology in dissertation and document analysis from middle school as well as high school.
This is what is present in History Geography and in the HGGSP specialty, and I offer courses aimed, in addition to helping the learning of courses in these subjects, to put it into practice in an exercise with a built methodology. It is this methodology that I teach, in order to provide the student with independence.
I can also provide homework help in these classes, as well as re-explain and repeat poorly understood course points.
As for speaking in public, it is necessary for the oral exams at the end of high school. I have been part of a debate group for 3 years and have acquired a certain mastery there.
I am a student in high school, in the final year and I already have experience in helping with homework in my high school. I also chose the HGGSP specialty (geopolitics and political science) in second and I obtained my baccalaureate in this subject.

A knowledgeable lawyer and legal services provider

Hello, dear customer. Meet your legal professional. I'm currently a practicing attorney, skilled writer, and online researcher who delivers exactly what I promise. The legal profession, research, and writing have been my passions since the early years of my legal career, and through learning and experience, I have sufficiently honed my skills in these areas. In addition, I am currently pursuing my P.HD, a degree that I believe is an added advantage to my expertise. Do not hesitate to entrust me with your task and expect the best from my services. Thank you in advance, and stay safe.
In this lesson I will guide you through the process of conducting legal research and writing legal documents.

- Legal Research: The tutor will explain how to conduct legal research, which is a critical skill for anyone involved in the legal field. This includes understanding how to use legal databases, how to find and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law, and how to stay updated with recent legal developments. The tutor will also cover how to analyze legal problems and apply the law to specific scenarios.

- Legal Writing: The tutor will then move on to legal writing, another essential skill for legal professionals. This involves learning how to write various legal documents such as briefs, memos, contracts, and legal opinions. The tutor will provide tips on how to write clearly and persuasively, how to structure your arguments, and how to cite legal authorities correctly.

- Practical Exercises: Throughout the lesson, the tutor will provide practical exercises to help you apply what you've learned. This might involve researching a particular legal issue or drafting a legal document.
- Feedback and Improvement: The tutor will provide feedback on your work, helping you to improve your legal research and writing skills. They will point out any areas of weakness and provide suggestions for improvement.

This lesson is designed for anyone interested in law, whether you're a law student, a legal professional looking to brush up on your skills, or someone considering a career in law. It provides a solid foundation in legal research and writing, two of the most important skills for any legal professional.

I'm an author with a background in comparative literature and philosophy, and have years of experience in teaching Hebrew — including students with learning differences, which I take seriously and adapt my teaching to.
No language is just a language — and Hebrew is no different. It's a cultural, political, and social space, and I teach it as one.
We'll start with the essentials: reading, basic vocabulary, and building a foundation you can actually use. As soon as you're ready, we'll bring in real Hebrew — news articles from Haaretz (I'll bring the subscription), literature in a genre of your choosing, or music, whatever pulls you in. The more confident you get, the more we'll use that material to talk, argue, and think in Hebrew.
This is for learners who want more than vocabulary lists — who want Hebrew as a way into a culture, not just a skill on a CV.

Learn world history, international relations, and political science from a former U.S. diplomat with 16 years of professional experience in Asia, Africa, and Washington, D.C.

This class is designed for high school and university students, adult learners, and anyone interested in developing a deeper understanding of how international affairs, politics, economics, and diplomacy actually work. Lessons can be tailored to your interests, academic coursework, or professional goals.

Topics can include international relations and foreign policy; diplomacy and negotiation; the United Nations and other international organizations; U.S. government and foreign policy; international security; global economic and technology issues; cross-cultural communication; and the relationship between history and current world events.

My teaching style emphasizes understanding and discussion rather than simply memorizing facts. We'll examine why countries and leaders make the choices they do, how governments negotiate and cooperate, and how historical and cultural factors shape today's world.

Before transitioning into education, I served for 16 years as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer, with assignments in China, Indonesia, Madagascar, Chad, and Washington, D.C. I have also taught English in China and Japan, served as a graduate teaching assistant in international relations at American University, and taught undergraduate students at the University of Maryland.

Whether you're preparing for a class or exam, considering a career in international affairs, or simply want to understand world events more deeply, I will tailor our lessons to your interests and goals.

My online tutoring in constitutional law is based on a progressive and rigorous method, structured around four key stages. First, we thoroughly review legal methodology: we revisit the rules of essay writing (compelling problem statement, structured outlines with two main parts and two sub-parts, headings) as well as those of text and decision commentary (critical analysis, problematization, and avoiding paraphrasing). Second, we conduct a targeted review of the course material to clarify key concepts (theory of the State, separation of powers, specificities of the Fifth Republic) and analyze current institutional events, illuminating them with constitutional case law. Next comes the phase of corrected exercises, during which we apply this knowledge to typical exam questions by developing detailed outlines, crafting compelling hooks, and providing personalized feedback to refine your vocabulary and writing style. Finally, we organize intensive preparation for practice exams and end-of-semester exams, including timed simulations and personalized support to optimize your time management, boost your confidence and aim for a high grade.
