English for academic purposes: This course would cover the key aspects of English needed in higher education and academic contexts. In addition to grammar and vocabulary, the course trains the key receptive and productive skills needed in higher education. Receptive skills involve reading and listening to academic texts. Hello! Welcome to my Super Prof profile! Let me express my passion for teaching my instrument and emphasize the utmost importance of developing a deep understanding of sound and rhythm. We will embark on an extensive journey that includes ear training through singing melodies, exploring scales, diving into harmony using the piano, and even a little music theory if you are interested. Our focus will be primarily on honing our listening skills, as that is the key element. Note that our approach to learning is not to read music notation or rely on written material. We want to enjoy it, and if we ever choose to transcribe music, we can take the opposite route. We will learn to feel the rhythm and then put it into written form. subjects Development of the sound; Ear training; Scales (with your instrument and with the voice); Chords (also played on piano); Solo Transcriptions; Rhythm; History of music; Music theory Reading music Thank you. I'm sure that as a researcher you know the saying 'publish or perish' like no other. Your success as an academic is measured by your number of publications. In order to be published, it's important that you are able to report your research in an effectively structured, clear, and pleasantly readable way. Those who find this difficult tend to thrive less. Writing academic articles isn't an art: it is a craft that you can learn. I can help you to find your authentic narrative, giving you the necessary skillset to make the whole process less intimidating. If you know what you're doing, you'll find you can become a lot less reliant on AI. Before we start, will discuss your needs and we will draw up a plan based on your personal goals.

Do you want to work on classical repertoire? Do you want to learn songs from around the world or invent your own? do you want to play happy birthday to your best friend with a Cello? Let's explore together this beautiful instrument with pieces that you like, finding different ways to play one thing, becoming actors on the stage of music... Let's create games to develop creativity and technique, those that will help you to personalise your way of playing. With music, we learn much more than just playing pieces. I always thought about how the ancient Greeks introduced Music as an essential subject in school. Music was to heal, to entertain, to get to know yourself more. I'm just finished my studies in the University of Arts of Codarts (Rotterdam) and I can't deny I will always keep learning after finishing my degree. I'm looking forward to sharing some knowledge and to hear what you already know. What can i offer? Styles that we can work on: Classical, Folk, Jazz, Pop music. Languages that we can speak in the lesson: Dutch, English, Catalan or/and Spanish Skills that we can work on: basic techniques, jazz and folk techniques, play the cello while singing, percussion on the cello. How do I work? Each class will be individually prepared, in order to have the student goals in mind. In our first lesson we can get to know each other and then we will figure out what do you want and how can I help you. For BEGINNERS I teach the bow, finger positions and other basics with easy songs (with kids I add games to make it more entreating). Such as relating painting with playing, dancing with playing or literature with playing. For AVERAGE LEVEL we explore, with already some technique, how to play songs, finding a good sound and feel at ease with the instrument. Extra activities: Once a month I plan a rehearsal with pianist to work on some repertoire of cello and piano. Meetings with other students are also arranged to play duos together. It's very necessary to play with people and not get stuck in our own individual studies! Do you have doubts or need more information? Don't hesitate to write me a message!

I can teach Mathematics from High School level up to Master's level (Linear Algebra and Statistics). I can also teach programming in Python. I believe in explaining Mathematics by giving practical examples rather than bookish knowledge. In order to understand Mathematics it is important to understand the underlying concepts and transfer that knowledge to problem solving techniques. I give two types of lesson: - Regular Classes: Classes on regular basis as you move through a course in university or school. - Intense Classes: A longer intense class session spanning several hours in order to prepare for an exam.

It is beautiful to be able to play a musical instrument. However, when looking to learn the cello, one needs regular accompaniment. Either if you want to engage in a hobby or if you want to learn and develop your skills in a more serious way, I will adapt your lessons to your ambitions and desires towards your cello lessons. The duration of our lessons can be flexible according to the necessity or possibility of the student. Other artistic situations can be offered depending on what you show through the lessons, as the participation in cello ensembles, preparation for competitions (for students who will take the cello further in their studies), preparation for other exams that the student may want to apply to out-side our lessons, as others which may be proposed by the student him-self. There is also the opportunity to improve and practice your English, Portuguese, Spanish or Czech since these are the languages in which I can teach, according to the students preference. The most important thing is that you love music so that we can make some together!!
