Every computer scientist must develop foolproof logic.
Algorithmics is the main skill required in any training in this field.
I propose in this course to give you the mental patterns to adopt to succeed in this subject. To prepare you for computer competitions and allow you to excel in this subject.
I myself am a Web and Artificial Intelligence engineer and find myself having to redo advanced algorithmic exercises to pass technical interviews and other competitions.
I have experience in pedagogy and I can guarantee you an evolution that meets your needs.

About Me
Hello,

I hope you are well /

I introduce myself:

I am 25 years old and a recent graduate (2021) in Computer Science, I have always helped my colleagues to prepare for our exams, it was a way for me to improve my course. I have always been a very good student in higher education and am moving towards a doctorate in order to share my knowledge.

I now give courses in computer science up to the Master's degree, in English at all levels (TOEIC), but also courses in all subjects up to 3rd grade. For high school, I teach philosophy (personal hobby) accounting (L1 accounting management audit) and history geography (very good level).

My journey :

I have a baccalaureate S specialty mathematics (yes it was another time) with very good marks in languages (16 in English) French (13 in writing) and geo history (15/20). Following which I did a year in Accounting Management Audit at the Institute of Business Administration Toulouse 1 Capitole from which I only keep a solid foundation in accounting. Not having liked the rest of the subjects, I turned to IT. Java, Python, NodeJs, Javascript, C, C++, C#, databases, statistics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence... Only skills in which I have proven my level. I finished my Master's degree at Polytech Nice Sophia Antipolis (Major in the first semester, second semester internship).

What do I keep? my determination, my desire to learn and teach others, an unfailing curiosity. Despite health concerns, I was able to stand out.

Now ? I am actively seeking a doctorate to put my slab in the scientific edifice.

Why teach? Helping has always been an important part of my life. Participating in personal and professional development when I can is always a pleasure.

I propose to teach you:

Having the ability to transmit my passion, I do not refuse a student who does not want, at first sight, to make an effort. I count on good humor and understanding to make him like the material.

Being also a technical manager in a start-up, I have responsibilities that do not allow me to be available all the time. We will have to agree on a schedule that suits us all. The rise in competence of the teams with which I work, is the experience on which I base myself in my communication with the pupils/students.

English and computer subjects are my specialty but I remain available for the other subjects mentioned on my profile.

I would surely please you because:

I have always been the student who teaches others, it is natural for me to continue this work. As a life coach, happiness is my main priority and I have the tools to achieve it. IT is my professional field.

I seek to create a healthy and friendly relationship with the pupil or student. very observant, I know how to recognize the gaps and give the tools/advice to fill them. I'm the forward-thinking type and I prepare personalized courses according to the person concerned.

Worker I take time to follow the course given in class in order to make progress the person concerned in the skills which will be useful to him during the exams. I also do revision programs adapted to controls with mock exams.

Apart from the courses I offer:
- Being trained in coaching, I offer different ways to help you improve your life with different services.
- Having several experiences with professional recruitment processes (start-up and multinational) I am able to prepare you. (90% chance of being called back after the HR interview)

Objective: To understand AI without fear, to use it to simplify one's life and to know how to identify digital traps.

1: Demystifying AI (What exactly is it?)
AI is not a movie robot: Difference between fiction and reality.

How it works (simply): The image of the "giant library": AI has read billions of books and uses them to predict the continuation of a sentence or create an image.

Where is it already present? Spell checkers, Netflix/YouTube suggestions, GPS, and voice assistants (Siri/Alexa).

2: Using AI to make life easier
Conversing with AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini):

Ask him to write an administrative email or a complex letter.

Summarize a long newspaper article or document.

Plan a travel itinerary or find recipe ideas with what's left in the fridge.

AI for creativity and memory:

Generate images to illustrate a birthday card (Midjourney, DALL-E).

Using AI to restore or colorize old family photos.

3: Learning to "talk" to AI (The Art of the Prompt)
The context method: Why "Give me a cake recipe" is less effective than "I am allergic to gluten and I am hosting 4 people, give me a simple chocolate cake recipe".

The expert's role: Learning to tell AI "Act like a travel guide" or "Act like an expert gardener".

4: Precautions and Critical Thinking (The Survival Guide)
"Hallucinations": Understand that AI can make false claims with complete certainty (never take medical or legal advice from AI without verification).

Privacy protection:

Never give sensitive data (social security number, passwords, bank details) to an AI.

Knowing that everything we write to the AI is potentially used to train it.

Spotting "Deepfakes":

How to recognize a doctored image or video (details on the hands, strange reflections, slightly metallic voice).

Verify the information: the golden rule of cross-referencing sources.

5: Ethics and Impacts (To go further)
Copyright: Who owns an image created by AI?

The environmental impact: The water and energy consumption of AI servers.

The future: Will AI replace us or assist us?

Many students today use AI tools like ChatGPT, but often in an unsafe or improvised way. Legitimate questions arise: Is it allowed? How can mistakes be avoided? How can AI be used without losing control of one's own thinking?

This course isn't about shortcuts or "machine-done work." It focuses on understanding AI as a tool and learning to use it consciously and responsibly. We work with concrete examples from the university setting and show how AI can support learning without compromising academic integrity.

One of the course's central themes is AI as a research tool. We'll explore how to define topics, formulate effective research questions, and structure a project from the outset. AI can help gain an overview and organize ideas, but we'll also clearly analyze its limitations and the need for critical self-reflection.

From there, we move on to academic writing. From developing outlines and arguments to improving style and clarity, AI can be a valuable tool. We demonstrate how to work with drafts, detect inconsistencies, and avoid common errors that often cause problems in academia.

Another section is dedicated to learning with AI. Explaining complex texts, clarifying concepts, reviewing content, and checking one's own understanding are especially valuable uses if the right questions are asked. The goal is to use AI actively, not passively.

Finally, we use AI as an intellectual sparring partner. Not as a substitute for our own thinking, but as an interlocutor that helps to compare arguments, raise objections, and explore other perspectives. This is where AI's greatest real value often lies: thinking better, not thinking less.

The course is designed for students of any discipline. No prior knowledge is required. The goal is to gain confidence in using AI and learn how to integrate it productively and responsibly into university studies.
