How to work the voice ? Practice ? Perform ? Compose ? Interpret a song ? It's through technic but also practising songs from your favourite artists that you understand how to place your voice and sing your song and achieve your musical journey. Starting from the basics like breathing support, vocal routines, learning songs to practising stage presence, composition. In my classes, I go through all this points and focus on what the student needs and wish to learn. I had the chance to learn with the greatest Jazz singers of the New York scene. I studied, Jazz, Pop, Classical singing, which lead me to understand the voice in its full. For five years I focused on performing and touring with my different projects, and there I built my skills for the stage and being comfortable in front of a crowd.

I am offering guitar and music lessons to everyone interested in learning music, from beginners to advanced players who want to improve their skills. I find teaching very inspiring and challenging. Music is one of the cornerstones of a healthy and happy life and it would be my pleasure to help guide you through part of your musical journey. I teach all skill levels and ambitions, whether you want to play bass a hobby, set up a band with friends or want to prepare for a conservatory audition, I can help you. In my teaching I try to give you the best foundational skills to achieve your musical goals. This means a high level of customization is possible if you have an idea of what direction you want to head down, but I will of course guide you on the way as well. As a bassist my strong suits are Rock, Pop, RnB and Neo Soul but through the years I have recorded and played live shows in a host of different genres (Jazz, Fusion, Reggae, Ska, Hard rock etc) so my teaching is by all means not contained to a few genres, I believe having a good overview over different kinds of music is very important. I am originally from Rotterdam, the Netherlands and have been playing bass since I was 13 years old. I graduated in 2023 with a degree in Electric Bass from BIMM Berlin and have studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston (Summer 2018), Holland College in Canada (2019-2020) and am an alumni of the Popkurs at the HfmT Hamburg (2025). As a session bassist in Berlin I have recorded in many great studios with Grammy award winning and nominated producers and engineers (Sting, Billie Eilish). Apart from this I play for multiple artists and have played shows in venues such as Festsaal Kreuzberg, Columbiatheater, Lido, Badehaus, Maschinenhaus, Kantine Am Berghain, Privatclub and run a YouTube channel with over 500.000 views. Next to this I teach students both in person and online and occasionally work at a music venue, basically I do anything to always be in a musical environment!
