Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world, and among the most beautiful. Being able to speak Spanish is a gateway to diverse peoples and their cultures in Spain, Latin America and the Caribbean.

This course will build your confidence to converse in Spanish on diverse topics in multiple settings while mastering esentual grammar. While doing so, you will learn about the history and day to day life in countries across the Spanish speaking world, from Argentina to Venezuela.

I bring 35+ years of living in Central and South America, working as a trainer and developing training materials and resources in Spanish. As a fluent speaker of Spanish as a second language, I know all to well the ups and downs of the learning process.

My name is Gaizka, Spanish and Basque are my mother tongues. I spent 9 years in the UK and I took my degree - See profile photo - in Edinburgh last summer.

My approach to teaching is pragmatic and sympathetic. I understand your struggle because I lived that struggle for a long time when I moved to the UK in 2009. My main interest is to make you feel confident with what you know and see how much you can stretch that knowledge in real life communication. And then we grow and improve from there.

You learn a language to communicate. You say something and you get a reply. You are understood and you understand. That is the only thing that matters, that you can use what you know and communicate more and better as you learn.

I specialize in tutoring Spanish for academics, adults, business (Specific Purposes), and enjoyment (one-to-one, online, in companies, all levels). Spanish is fun and a great language for work and enjoyment. I have a communicative approach, using the language in real contexts, with role plays, videos, music and practical materials.

I have a degree in Spanish Philology and I also have a Master of Education. Now, I'm working in a high school near Glasgow as Spanish Language Assistant, so i'm getting very familiar with the secondary exams like Nat5, Highers or Advance Highers, and that could be very useful if you're searching a tutor especially for that.

I have also been a Language and Literature private tutor in Spain.

I'm used to adapt my teaching methodology to each different pupil and we can work specifically only in the fields that the student finds the most difficult.

The first lesson can be a first contact to see and to evaluate the needs of the student. We can look at what the pupil has been doing until now and specify which skills need to be trained.

My name is Zoe and I am a fully qualified and registered Primary Teacher working in Glasgow. Before moving into education, I completed my undergraduate degree in German and Spanish at the University of St Andrews (2020) and speak both languages to an advanced level (C1 of CEFR). I am currently working part-time as a Primary Teacher and tutor while I also undertake a Master's in Psychology at the University of Glasgow.

I have taught from Primary 2 - 7 and am also qualified to teach pupils until the end of S3. I have a background in working with primary school pupils with additional support needs, including ASD, AD(H)D, dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. As such, I am confident meeting the needs of all learners to ensure I provide the most appropriate support.

I believe in a child-centred education and always adapt my teaching to the needs, abilities and personalities of pupils.
