Hello, my name is Catalina, I have been a Spanish teacher for 3 years. I offer individual Spanish classes for all levels at home (in the city of Rennes), close to my home or online. I am Colombian, and I love teaching Spanish, which is my mother tongue. I write and speak it perfectly. I prepare my classes according to the needs and interests of the students. I use active methodologies for teaching Spanish such as the integration of social networks in class as part of didactic strategies, in order to facilitate the teaching-learning process based on personal interests and motivations. Bye!

[Courses available at 50% of the listed price, if at your home, via CESU (tax reduction)] Hello, I offer flute and piano lessons for beginners. These can be used in conjunction with lessons from another teacher to help students practice their instrument in between, or my lessons can be taken on their own. I also offer musical awakening around a piano with various games (rhythm, memory, listening, finger dexterity...) for the youngest children. This would be my first experience teaching music, hence the fairly low price. I've been playing the flute for years. I'm a primary school teacher, so I understand the principles of teaching. I also have a good foundation in piano (I can accompany simple flute pieces, for example), as well as in music theory, even though I've never attended a conservatory. I went to music school with various teachers and had the opportunity to participate in several workshops (including one with Jean Ferrandis, a leading figure in the flute world). I'm at the end of the third cycle of flute studies and about mid-level in piano, with a strong grasp of the fundamentals. I'm always willing to challenge myself.

English course for beginners. Do you want to learn English or review the basics? I will guide you at your own pace. My goal is to help you acquire the essential basics of the language so that you can understand, express yourself and hold a simple and fluent conversation in English. To encourage rapid progress, I favor an immersive approach: I mainly speak English during lessons, while adapting my vocabulary to your level and taking the time to explain in French when necessary. As a DUT student, I particularly like English, so I studied English for 7 years to obtain my Profiency 3 diploma (+ toefl preparation) which translates into level C2. I also have 3 years of professional experience as an English teacher with people of all ages and all levels. Do you find it difficult to express yourself in English? You don't feel confident enough during presentations or during usual exchanges in English? Do you want to train in a warm and friendly teaching environment to highlight your ability to speak English in your CV? Another situation: you are a parent and you want to instill a passion for English in your child from the start? If you say one of these questions, you are in the right place to solve your problem without pressure or judgment whatever your level in English or your objectives. The method I use is not a classic method, the one I use is interactive and encourages the student to get involved and to be more attentive and motivated. I always encourage the people I teach to interact with me and I make sure that they start to like practicing the language so that they can study with much more interest and desire and that they do not don't feel forced. Also, I love getting my students to speak since I think practice is the secret to learning a language and improving your knowledge. I always structure my classes around real-life themes (how to introduce yourself, how to make an appointment, how to shop, how to get to the doctor, English at work, etc). We will see grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation together. If you are intermediate, we will also do courses on texts. We will put both grammar and vocabulary into practice. You will be very well supervised, I will always be by your side to guide you and I promise you a warm and friendly teaching environment. Your progress with me is guaranteed no matter your level or your goals :) I am available in Rennes or otherwise online by webcam for distance learning courses. I look forward to meeting you, do not hesitate to ask me questions if necessary!

It's by speaking that we learn! I believe that learning a language is above all a question of communication and confidence. My approach is therefore based on immersion and oral practice: I create a caring environment where the student dares to express themselves, even with mistakes, because these are an integral part of the learning process.

My teaching method adapts to each student. It links courses, technical exercises and concrete problems on the one hand, but also methodology, understanding and organization on the other. For example, we can first come back to the key points of the course, then practice together on exercises, while giving you my tips and tricks, then we can do training topics together for example.
