Hello and welcome!

I have been teaching violin and viola since 2008, at universities, schools, and in my private studio, and play in orchestras and ensembles such as the Haydn Philharmonic, Bach Werk Vocal, and Salzburg Chamber Soloists.

I value good fundamentals that enable healthy use of the body and thus the expression of one's own creativity.

Music enthusiasts of all ages and levels are welcome for a free introductory lesson!

Maxime (violin), born in Namur (Belgium) in 1994, studied at IMEP and the Mozarteum University Salzburg with Igor Tkatchouk, Igor Ozim and Rainer Schmidt. Violinist of the Adelphi Quartet, 1st prize in the competition of the Irene Steels-Wilsing Foundation at the String Quartet Festival of the Heidelberg Spring 2020, joint master's degree with Rainer Schmidt (Hagen Quartet). In addition to the quartet, various engagements in the Hulencourt Chamber Orchestra, Camerata Salzburg, Metamorphoses Orchestra (Belgium), Boho Strings (Belgium). Performances as a soloist and chamber musician in Tokyo, Salzburg, Radovljiška (Slovenia), Montreal, Scansano and others together with Gilles Millet (Danel Quartet), Clemens Hagen (Hagen Quartet), Guy Braunstein, Wolfgang Redik, Valentin Erben (Alban Berg Quartet).

I love to teach and I have 5 years of experience with children between 5 and 17 years in many schools.

I have 10 years of experience teaching private lessons to different ages and levels and several years of teaching internships during my studies.

I draw from my childhood experience learning violin in Brazil, where I discovered how to enjoy music and, from that, how it could shape my own future. I am happy to teach students of any level—beginner, intermediate, or advanced—helping them develop technique, musical expression, and a lifelong love of playing.

I’m from Japan and studied at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. I am a professional violinist and a member of the Beija-flor String Quartet, with international experience as a soloist and chamber musician. I have performed at major festivals including the Salzburg Festival and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, and my recordings include Mozart’s rediscovered Ganz kleine Nachtmusik KV648 with Deutsche Grammophon. I have received awards such as 1st Prize at the Zhuhai International Mozart Competition (China) and the Special Prize “Swabian Chamber Music” at the Leopold Mozart International Violin Competition (Germany).
