Individual, couple or group service.​ These workshops aim to learn or simply practice steps, in a relaxed atmosphere and in a safe space. Relaxation is promoted with guided breathing exercises. Concept art: ​The cumbia-relajación workshop is a concept that pays homage to ancestral rhythms linked to the Earth and to heartbeats. One of these rhythms is the "tresillo", which is found in several popular dances in Abya Yala / Anahuac / Tawantinsuyo such as cumbia, bachata,bullengue, reggaeton*, etc. This rhythm is also present in millennial cultures around the world. The steps have similarities to movements in Tai-chi or Qi-gong, and have the potential to bring health benefits. It is an approach that has the potential to connect the moving body with the mind. Socially, a circle dance can help release any inhibitions. The workshop aims to encourage safe spaces where we can dance alone, or in groups. *important note. For over 10 years, I have been developing a method that allows my students to learn observational drawing at record speed. Through pictorial and observational exercises, my students become adept at drawing *any and all* observational subjects in: 4 months with 1 day/wk classes at 4 hrs/day 2 weeks at 6 days/wk classes at 6 hrs/day . If you "know how to draw except for" portraits/perspective/etc, this is the best program for you too. In this class the students will learn the basics of Italian. Depending on the individual level, specific classes of conversation will be provided. For beginners, an introduction on the sounds of the letters and to the proper pronounce will be provided. Beginners will get basic writing and reading skills (e.g. use of accents, how to conjugate verbs in different forms at the present, how to read a simple text with the correct pronounce). At the intermediate level, the students will learn to read more complex texts (with increasing difficulty) and to answer questions related to them. It is expected that at the end of the intermediate classes, the students will be able to distinguish between different verbal forms and to conjugate verbs at the past, the present and the future. It is also expected that they will be able to use those forms for writing more complex texts. Listening classes will be provided as well.
