About Me

I am a bassist for fifteen years, graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (jazz section). This instrument attracted me by its rhythmic as well as melodic function, the fundamental aspect that it plays within a group and the close collaboration with the drums and percussions to create a solid and versatile rhythm section.
My style of play, which I wanted effective and varied, allows me to be comfortable in the different musical styles to which a modern electric bassist must regularly adapt such as: pop, jazz, funk, fusion, rock , folk, ...

With the teaching of international teachers in the field of jazz and modern music, I feel able to offer my students, of all ages, levels and cultures, a flexible, open and stimulating method.

Mainly self-taught, I completed my training by integrating the EF2M then the conservatory in Jazz.
I started teaching bass during a tour in Palestine and it's been going on for 7 years!

On the program: Techniques (2-finger play, 3-finger play, slap, back and forth slap, tapping, harmonics, etc.) / Application of the technique on YOUR favorite songs or backing track / Ear training / Reading tablatures / Theory etc.

As an electronic music composer and multi-instrumentalist, I create personalized backing tracks so that my students can practice and introduce them to Computer Aided Music (Logic Pro).

My goal is to share with you my passion for bass and music in a good atmosphere!

I live in the Mons area, but I have my own transportation, so I can give lessons at your home at your convenience.
