Learn English & Spanish | Open More Doors WorldwideTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Learning a language is about much more than memorising vocabulary or mastering grammar. It's about ordering your first coffee with confidence, succeeding in a job interview, travelling without relying on translation apps, connecting with people, and discovering a different way of seeing the world. That's why I teach. I'm Silvia, a native Spanish speaker from Argentina, an experienced English and Spanish teacher, and a qualified theatre nurse now based in the UK. My professional journey has taken me from operating theatres to virtual classrooms, giving me a unique perspective on communication, empathy and lifelong learning. For more than five years, I've helped adult learners from around the world achieve their personal, academic and professional goals through practical, conversation-focused lessons. I also understand the language needs of healthcare professionals and enjoy supporting students who need English or Spanish for medical settings. Every student has a different reason for learning. Some are preparing to relocate abroad, others need a language for work, want to travel with confidence, or simply dream of speaking fluently. Whatever your goal, I design lessons around your needs—not a one-size-fits-all course. My classes are friendly, engaging and interactive. You'll practise real communication from the very beginning while building a solid understanding of grammar in a way that feels clear, practical and never overwhelming. My goal is not only to teach a language, but to help you feel confident using it in real life. If you're looking for a teacher who genuinely listens, adapts to your learning style and encourages you every step of the way, I'd love to help you achieve your goals. Let's make your next conversation your best one.

Professional Singing Lessons with an International Touring Singer, Songwriter and Vocal CoachTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Professional Singing Lessons with an International Touring Singer, Songwriter and Vocal CoachTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Whether you're singing for the first time, preparing for auditions, performing professionally or writing your own music, every lesson is designed around your individual goals. I'm an international touring singer, songwriter and vocal coach with over ten years of professional teaching experience and more than 1,000 live performances across the UK, Europe and the United States. Alongside my performing career, I hold a First-Class BA (Hons) in Music Production & Performance and a Master's degree in Songwriting with Distinction. I don't believe there's a single vocal method that works for everyone. Every voice is unique, so every lesson is tailored to your voice, musical style and ambitions. My teaching combines contemporary vocal science with practical experience gained from years of performing live, recording in the studio and coaching singers of all abilities. Lessons may include vocal technique, breath management, range development, vocal health, tone, confidence, performance skills, songwriting and artist development. My goal isn't simply to improve your singing today, but to help you understand your voice so you continue developing long after each lesson. Learning to sing can sometimes feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and enjoying the learning process. Together we'll identify what's holding you back and build a clear, structured path towards your goals.

Tuition and Practice in IELTS Skills (all 4 subskills)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Tuition and Practice in IELTS Skills (all 4 subskills)Translate this text using Google Translate.

I am a professional, TEFL and CELTA qualified ESOL teacher with 15 years experience in a wide range of teaching situations, working in Shenzhen, China for over two years (2011 – 2013), and then in Manchester, UK until now. My particular expertise is providing preparatory tuition and support to candidates taking IELTS, OET (Occupational English Test) or Cambridge ESOL exams (eg. B2 First). However, I also have extensive experience in teaching all aspects of general and business English to all levels and ages. Previous roles include working for a large, UK recruitment company where I provided online tuition, mentoring and assessment to groups of nurses in India and the Philippines and later, also Spain and Italy. I was a team member charged with facilitating these candidates’ success in IELTS (and later OET), in which they were required to achieve a minimum band score of 7 in all four sub-tests. This was essential to qualify them to work in the UK’s NHS. The process consisted of a busy weekly programme of scheduled one-to-one Skype sessions (up to 50 candidates per week) and a series of scheduled, 1-2 hour group webinars with up to 100 attendees, for which I personally produced many Power Point Presentations. I gained further remote work experience during the Covid lock-down periods, teaching groups and individuals through online platforms such as Learn Cube, Zoom, Voov (Chinese), Skype and Teams. I believe my lengthy and broad experience in English language teaching and related freelance services has equipped me with all relevant skills, experience and resources to help you succeed.

1-on-1 Fusion 360 Tutoring for 3D Printing - Turn Your Ideas into RealityTranslate this text using Google Translate.

1-on-1 Fusion 360 Tutoring for 3D Printing - Turn Your Ideas into RealityTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Have you ever found the perfect 3D model online, only to realize it’s just a little too small, or missing a hole you need? Or maybe you have a brilliant idea for an invention, a custom bracket, or a replacement part for your house, but you have no idea how to design it from scratch? AutoDesk Fusion 360 is one of the best solutions for beginners, hobbyists and even professionals when it comes to learning the basics of Computer Aided Design (CAD). Fusion 360 is also free to use for students or for personal use, making it easily accessible to anybody who knows how to use a computer. Our 1-on-1, beginner-friendly tutoring skips the confusing training and teaches you exactly what you need to know to make awesome, real-world objects using a 3D printer. Opening Fusion 360 for the first time can feel like sitting in the cockpit of a spaceship—there are just too many buttons. Instead of just memorizing what the buttons do, you will build real-world skills through practical, print-focused milestones. Here is exactly what you will learn to do inside Fusion 360: What You’ll Learn to Create (Step-by-Step) We don't do boring, repetitive exercises or fill in workbooks. You'll learn by making real things every session using our on-site Bambu Lab printers! Here is what you’ll be able to do: 🛠️Design Custom Replacement Parts Learn how to measure a broken item in your house (like a plastic clip, a battery cover, or a knob) with a pair of calipers and recreate it perfectly on your screen. No more throwing things away just because a small plastic piece snapped. This give you an opportunity to learn why the original part broke and how you can make a more functional part of your own. 📐Make "Smart" Models That Resize Instantly Learn the magic of making a design that adapts. You’ll create a project—like a storage box—where you can change one number (like the width), and the rest of the box automatically updates itself without ruining your work. You can reuse your own designs over and over for different projects. 🧩Design Parts That Fit and Move Together Learn the secret to designing moving parts. We will show you exactly how much "breathing room" (clearance) to leave between plastic parts so that hinges swing, drawers slide, functional threads and lids snap shut without getting stuck. 🔩Mix Plastic with Real Hardware Learn how to design perfect holes for metal screws, slots to drop in hex nuts, and spaces for bearings. Plastic unfortunately can't do everything, but with a bit of help from off the shelf parts, you can make your models and prints work with some very novel advantages sometimes not even possible in traditional manufacturing. ✂️"Remix" Existing 3D Files (STLs) Take those files you download from websites like Thingiverse or Printables and learn how to actually change them. You'll learn how to cut parts off, stretch shapes, or add your own text and logos to existing models. Make anything fit your purpose and modify parts.
