We learn through passion. The more we feel we can receive learning, the more it is transmitted through passion.
I was lucky enough to have very good teachers throughout my education and now I want to pass on my knowledge to my students.
In my teaching, I want to "read" the student sitting in the room with me and conclude which of the many possibilities might work specifically for him or her.
I was trained as a classical musician and over the years I also found folk music very interesting because it connects you with the stories and traditions of a certain country or region. With this I want to say that different types of music are welcome in my lessons.
If you like music, if you like the warm sound of the cello, try a lesson and see how it goes. You're welcome.

About Me
I am an enthusiastic Spanish cello teacher and active performing artist with strong communication skills and the ability to bring inspiration and motivation to create a healthy and friendly working environment.
I come from the north of Spain, from the city of Gijon in Asturias. At the age of 9, I started playing the cello at the conservatory of my hometown, where I developed the first phase of my musical career. I studied with the first cello of the Asturias Symphony Orchestra and was lucky to grow up with beautiful orchestral music going to rehearsals and concerts.
For my bachelor studies, I moved to Seville, in Andalusia. I was fascinated by its strong culture, influenced by the sun and Flamenco roots. I also studied in Turku Finland for a year. In 2019, I graduated cum laude.
I had the honour of receiving several awards: Young Performers Award of the Gijón Conservatory (2015), Jose Gamez Chamber Music Competition (2017, Seville) and the Young Performers Award of the Manuel Castillo Conservatory (Seville, 2019), for which I was able to enjoy solo performances.
My orchestral experience includes: Orquesta Joven de la Comunidad de Madrid, Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias (Spain), Turku Philharmonie (Finland), Neue Philharmonie München (Germany).
I enjoy chamber music. Currently I am cellist of Strings ensemble Libero and a classical-jazz quartet ''.
Since 2020, I have lived in the Netherlands where I enjoy the cultural
diversity and the space to find my own musical voice.
