I am a professional violinist and teacher with experience in one-to-one lessons. I was taught the technique of the Galamian school and have travelled to Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands over the last few years.
Based on your necessities and the music you want to learn, I will make the lessons as interesting and fun as possible with a technical classical base.
I will place a lot of importance on stretching and warming up during the lesson to avoid future injuries, and I will try to incorporate that into the student routine.

My name is Eva, and I am a Spanish violinist living in Utrecht. I started studying music at the age of 7 and have a background in violin and music theory.
I love learning new things and helping people. I describe myself as a happy person with a smile always on my face. I love animals and reading.

Education

I finished my violin bachelor's at HKU Utrecht Conservatorium with Hebe Mensinga. My last teachers were Stefano Pagliani and Andrés Calatayud.
I received more than 10 years of theory music lessons
I am studying for a master's in Music Pedagogy and another in Music Education.

Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish.

Playing the violin is my passion, especially when I can pass on my knowledge and love for music to my students of all ages and levels.

I work as a team with you, finding the right method that fit your needs. What is important for me is to work on a good connection with the instrument and find the right basis for the start of your violin playing.
In my violin lessons, I would like also to share with you my musical knowledge, show you recordings of great violin players, prepare with you pieces that you always wanted to play and give you the tools so you can achieve your goals in music. I like to share the general knowledge of violin playing as well as basic and intermediate music theory lessons so you can enter in the world of music, but especially to have fun!!

My lessons can be shared between violin and theory together depending on what you are looking for.

The lessons will be at my house if you are in need of an instrument we can find one for you!

I did my Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teachers Maria Milstein and Eliot Lawson and completed my Masters in Performance degree with excellency as well in Amsterdam under the guidance of Liviu Prunaru and Mathieu van Bellen while studying baroque violin with Shunske Sato.

I have my own violin class in Amsterdam, and I love teaching.

I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. This class is for anyone looking to learn the violin and music in general. The focus is to develop a good technique and also have lots of fun with the instrument. We can discuss the goals of the student in the lesson, and the lessons will be given around what the student wishes. You'll learn a variety of violin pieces and also all the needed music theory to play them, so total begginers are more then welcome. I am Ana Marquez (23 years old), violinist and music teacher from Spain based in the Netherlands, last May I completed my studies at the HKU Utrecht Conservatory.

I started my musical education at the age of 6 in Málaga, my birthplace. I followed the Suzuki method from an early age, but I am also familiar with other methods such as the Paul Roland method or the Yehudi Menuhin method. Throughout my musical career I have been inspired and influenced by many great musicians who have guided and taught me. What I hope to offer my students is the ability to expand their vision and love for music, helping them find the music they want to make, play and experience. A technical side is being developed, but a creative, executive and musical treatment will also be present in my lessons. From classical to jazz.

With the Suzuki method, everyone can learn to play the violin!
The main components of the Suzuki method are:

Start young (from 3 years old).
Listening to music frequently.
Learning to play before learning to read music notation (native language method).
Parental involvement (Parents study with their children at home).
A fixed core repertoire.
Combination of individual and group lessons.

Hi! I'm Vivian, I'm 20 years old and I study classical violin at the Conservatory of Utrecht. For my methodology class this year I need to find a student to work with.
I need to give a minimum of 10 lessons this school year, you can expect to have a lesson every week.
It doesn't matter what level you are on - we will talk about your goals and motivation and I will incorporate that in the lessons. The only thing you have to bring with you is a love for music and the violin :)
I'm studying classical music, but if you prefer other types of music, that is also completely fine!! these are individual lessons, your wishes are most important!

About the lesson:

Specialized in jazz classes at least at all levels – with absolute beginners at the top of the speakers.

From 10 days to 10 days, you will be able to listen to your music via private channel without listening to music. Since March 2024 I teach at De Leerorkest in Amsterdam and De Gooische Muziekschool.

My lessons are based on fun, patience and attentive listening. I tailor each lesson to the student’s personal goals and interests – whether that’s classical music, folk music or improvisation. If you listen to some of the music you have inspired, you will be able to put the structure into effect.
