SaraProfessional Music-Therapy sessions (individual or group)
I am a professional violinist and professional music-therapist.
Music has been found to have curative, therapeutic, and other medical values for human well-being and its physical, mental, and social effects have been documented throughout history. In addition to its potential of relieving e.g. physical pain and stress, music has been considered as a powerful resource for the social aspects of healthcare and well-being, which suggests that music can provide and cultivate several aspects of human well-being.
I have worked with different disabilities but I have focused my music-therapy work on deafness, autism, elderly with dementia and ADHD. I offer music-therapy sessions (individual or group) to work with people in personalised sessions. Contact me if you want to know more about it.

BY RUDYARD KIPLING
(‘Brother Square-Toes’—Rewards and Fairies)
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

LiseCourse and coaching writing of dissertations and exams social sciences (political science, anthropology, international relations)
PhD student in international development at the University of Oxford, I offer two types of courses:
- Coaching lessons and exams: study and memorization techniques, help in understanding the subject (based on the student's questions), blockade management
- Coaching of research papers and dissertations: proofreading of dissertations, research assistance (research questions, qualitative methodologies, literature reviews, data analysis) and writing (structure, language EN / FR, bibliographies and referencing)
I start with the questions of the student or his work, and discuss possible improvements or explain the material points that cause difficulties. On request, I sometimes give in-depth sessions on particular chapters. To do this, I use the teaching method specific to the University of Oxford (the tutorial), which is based on a discussion between the teacher and the student and reading recommendations.
My courses are aimed at students of university education, from BAC to Masters.

What benefits you get from my Teaching classes:
1) I am not very strict when it comes to extra time. We can extend a bit. +10 mins is no problem. I always think that long sessions with small pauses are better so that you get a grip of the topic.
2) I can teach in group as well as alone , what suits you best. In case you are out for a break and don't want to lag behind in comparison to what is going on in school we, can have some back to back classes in short time, if that suits you.
Teaching has been a long time passion for me. I have taught already some candidates (look testimonials below) and during my colleges days I have held classes with several group of students. After moving to University I was also delivering sessions for my classmates from different parts of the world and I was in-charge of specific experiment for Bachelors and Masters students as well for a year.
I had Mathematics and Science in my School time where I scored 95/100 in Maths and 99/100 in Sciences (Indian First stage of Scientific Education) and then 95/100 again in Mathematic for exams Just before University. Due to love for machines I pursued Mechanical Engineering and then specialized in Materials Science (Physics and Chemistry of Materials). In a nutshell I am a Materials Scientist.
