About Me
I have always loved all things literature, and during my school years, I often found myself becoming closest to my literature and language teachers. I dreamt about a career in writing.
Having achieved this with the help of my teachers and mentors, I now work as a commissioning editor—a job that I wonder if it is the same for other editors, but to me, it is a lot like teaching. Not in a stern, 'do as I say' manner, but in a conversational, two-way learning process that really, really benefits the writer.
I lend my expertise to various cultural and community projects, always jumping at the opportunity to hold workshops. I may be biased, but Creative Writing sessions are so much fun!
In my free time, I write poetry and sometimes even perform it on a stage. I also write a tongue-in-cheek blog about the perks of living in a multicultural, multilingual house.
Other than writing, I love food, whether cooking, eating, or just talking about it.
