In the last ten years I spent a lot of time producing electronic music and I developed my solo and other projects as a mix of jazz, electronic and neoclassical music. I have a master degree in Live Electronics took a the Antwerp Conservatory. I decided to create this course where we can explore together the basics of music production using Ableton Live suite as a reference software. Computer music basics: Ableton + (if necessary) Adobe audition + Audacity Content of the Ableton course: use sound bank and effects incorporated into the program, add your own sounds, audio tracks and Midi tracks, transform audio track into Midi track (and vice versa), some interesting effects (on sound, on 1 track or on all tracks) with parameter settings, record with Ableton, make loops, work in Session view and Arrangements view, split sounds, mix, export, automate your work for live performance, etc.

I teach everything related to electronic music, both theoretically and practically: DJing, digital and analog production, audio recording, mixing, compositing, etc. My classes are tailored to each individual's needs and expectations. In addition to video lessons, I can also host classes directly in my studio to practice directly on my equipment (mixing desk, vinyl turntables, synthesizer, modular, drum machine, effects machine, piano, etc.). I have been practicing the violin for over 20 years, I have studied classical music throughout my studies and then studied electronic music and improvisation. Logic Pro is a powerful but complex software tool that can be used to create everything from very basic recordings and compositions, to huge professional productions. You'll learn all the skills you need to set up and use Logic Pro; how to record and edit audio, use software instruments and plug-in effects, and how to mix and process your sounds. Lessons can either be conducted online, or at my studio, if you're local to Plymouth (it's not in a restaurant, I don't know why it says that!)
