As a psychology graduate, I aim to make psychology exciting for A Level students. Psychology is vast subject, with so many different areas and approaches. This can make the subject daunting, but I think this is what makes psychology exciting; to understand how different approaches interlink to explain what makes us, us.

We can help understand and consolidate content. We will work on skills to revise A Level Psychology and reinforce strong study habits. We'll explore different methods to find out what works for you. We'll set small manageable deadlines, to turn a vast subject into small digestable chunks!

About Me

Hi, my name's Amanda.

I'm a psychology graduate from Lincoln. I spent a year Mentoring Sixth Form students in a Sixth form in East London.

I graduated with a First class Bsc Psychology degree in 2018, after tackling my degree with resilience and diligence.

When it comes to teaching, I am patient, calm and logical thinking, allowing the student and I to explore different options and revision strategies. I like my tutoring sessions to be student lead, so it's important to communicate with the student in order to maximise effective learning.

This class is for current Psychology undergraduate students who require help with essay writing, coursework and exam prep.

Students can bring their questions and assignments which they require advice and guidance on. The lesson will then focus on identifying challenges and overcoming them by a variety of methods dependent on the student's requirements. These may include: teaching lecture content; evaluating and improving written drafts; building practice essay plans.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, I specialise in tutoring Psychology at GCSE, A-Level and Undergraduate Level. I have years of experience in coursework, essay and exam planning. I’ve designed this course to help students have a better understanding of psychology so they can perform And achieve exceptional grades in their exams.
Psychology, when broken down, can be easy to understand and also fun.
Lang/lit can also be difficult to understand, however this course will allow you to understand literature and be able to write about it as well as improve your language skills.
Religious studies is mostly to do with recalling religious events/quotes which this course will help you to understand.

Chemistry, biology and psychology can all be difficult subjects but with my lessons, I aim to help tackle the approaches to exam style questions, giving tips to memorising topics and hand made resources that I made in order for me to achieve 3A*s at A level.

I would also be happy to teach these subjects at a GCSE standard, as well as offer assistance to those in primary school for SATS or 11 Plus, as I have been tutoring my sister for three years.

I intend for lessons to be interactive, as well as productive, and hope that I am able to gain a connection with my students that will allow them to be comfortable!

I specialise in tutoring science, maths and English (GCSE and ESL) all subjects are taught up to GCSE level or lower. My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed, providing support and approaching students with patience. I assign homework after every lesson and provide regular progress reports making sure the parents/carers are involved in the learning of the child and to track their progress.

Psychology is the study of the human mind. I will be covering based on the student either year 1 or year 2 content which includes approaches and bio psychology to aggression and schizophrenia. My lessons will cover the two years of content covered at A level, I follow the AQA exam board spec and for paper 3 content I do the variation of options: issues and debates, aggression, schizophrenia and cognition and development.

My lessons will cover teaching as well as recall and exam practise as frequently as possible in order to cement what has been learned.
