My father is a professional photographer, and my mother an artist who always encouraged me to be creative and use my imagination. One of my first memories as a toddler was seeing my father develop his photos. in the then seemingly mysterious and magical darkroom. I started asking him many questions about photography from a young age. My first camera, of the simple point-and-shoot variety, was an important formative gift, but also a slight disappointment. Being a “big girl” at four years old, I had hoped for a “real” (professional) camera. From there on in my passion for photography grew. I've learned various skills over the years, started with old film cameras, then proceeded to digital SLRs and editing techniques. I love photographing people, capturing natural moments, zooming into the hidden or small things, telling a story, sensing nuances and creating beautiful images for people to cherish for the rest of their lives.

I am a professional photographer with a Degree and background in Photojournalism & Visual Storytelling. When I photograph weddings, clients or my own family I don't just snap a pic, I tell a story about their soul. When we don't have anything left of someone, we have our memories and our photographs. I want to teach you to make the same photographs of your loved ones or of anything in your life experience. If you have a specific story to tell, I can help you tell it in a creative and beautiful way with depth and emotion. I care about the photographs that make you want to look at them longer, always discovering a new detail every time you look at it. I can teach the technicalities and post-production aspects of photography too, but I am much more interested in an imperfect photo that has emotion than a perfect photo that doesn't tell a story. I'm a drone pilot with few years of experience, a pilot license from government, medical exam and insurance. Most of my activities is making films, video and photography with a my own drone DJI Phantom 4. If you want to know how to fly, use applications with drone, safety, professional video making I'm here to help. I can also teach you how to fly inside, making a 3d scan of a space with a drone and programming different flights. In this class you will learn everything from the basics and functionality of a camera, the definition of the motif and post-production practices. This course is aimed at fresh photography enthusiasts, intermediate photographers who want to gain additional knowledge or absolute beginners. Its aim is to give a general understanding of photography. That includes technical aspects of analog and digital photography, the practical use of image theories within the choice of the motif and the ability to use image editing software. The goal of the class is to enable the participant to use photography in an artistic manner and to develop a unique style. Therefore the fundamentals of photography will give the student the ability to freely unfold their artistic vision. The class will consist of sessions inside where the students will learn the basics and functionality of a camera, outdoor sessions in order to form their style and potential tasks for in between the classes.

I hold a PhD in Art and Communication with Photography as my field of specialism and a PGCE teaching certificate in Post Compulsory Education. At the same time I am a practising photographic artist with an interest in abstract photography. I have a comprehensive understanding of contemporary photographic practices and of theoretical approaches to the subject, and also have a strong technical grounding both in traditional and in digital processes. I am experienced in all stages of the development of photographic projects, from early conceptualisation through to printing and exhibiting.I have exhibited nationally and internationally in both solo and group shows. My selection for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2008 Exhibition in Liverpool and London is one highlight among them. As an artist and teacher I insist on the highest professional standards and I emphasise clear and direct communication and honesty throughout. I have been teaching photography since 2009. I offer private lessons to photography students and any other individuals who would be interested in 'how to'/technical skills sessions or in developing a photographic body of work and would be in need for some expert advice.
