Trusted teacher: Ich bin ein erfahrene Mathematik- und Physik-Lehrerin mit einem Bachelor-, Lehramts- und Masterabschluss Diplome, die von der österreichischen Regierung anerkannt sind. Ich mache zurzeit eine Pos-Graduierung in Mathematikunterricht. Mein Unterricht richtet sich an alle, die ihre Lernschwierigkeiten überwinden möchten und dabei Spaß haben wollen, mit einer geduldigen Lehrerin, die sich für die Entwicklung des Schülers/der Schülerinnen engagiert (in was seiner gesamten Bildung zugutekommt). Ich versuche, meinen Schülern/innen die Möglichkeit zu entdecken, wie Mathematik (und Physik) im täglichen menschlichen Leben (um dem Menschen zu helfen, seine grundlegenden Bedürfnisse zu erfüllen) und in der Natur anwesend ist. Jeder kann seine Begabungen und Talente entwickeln, und mein Unterricht bietet dafür ein geeignetes Umfeld. Ich versuche, den Inhalt der Theorie und ihre Anwendungen zu erklären, wann immer das möglich ist, und zeige die Beziehung zwischen diesem Inhalt und den menschlichen Bedürfnissen, die zu ihrer historischen Entwicklung geführt haben. Ich versuche, den SchülerInnen zu helfen, Probleme im Zusammenhang mit den Theorien erfolgreich zu lösen, indem ich sie Schritt für Schritt bei der Lösung unterstütze (um ihren Vorsprung, ihre Autonomie und ihr Selbstvertrauen beim Lösen von Problemen zu fördern). Während dieses Prozesses stelle sie ich Fragen (um ihr Verständnis zu checken) und, wenn nötig, gebe ich weitere Beispiele und Erklärungen, die zu einem tieferen Verständnis führen können. In meinem Unterricht gibt es keine Kritik und keinen Druck, keinen Platz für Angst vor Fehlern (die Fehler sind Teil der Art und Weise, wie wir Menschen lernen). Die Atmosphäre ist fröhlich und gesund und regt den Schüler/die Schülerin an, er/sie selbst zu sein und sich frei zu fühlen, mit Ruhe und Freude zu lernen, zu untersuchen und zu hinterfragen. Meine Aufgabe als Lehrerin ist es, Bedingungen und Ressourcen zu schaffen, die es den Schülern/innen ermöglichen, sich selben und ihr Potenzial bestmöglich zu entwickeln.

I have been playing the cello for almost two decades and I can tell you it is a beautiful and rewarding journey, and I would not be where I am today without a group of extraordinary teachers and mentors that have been with me along the way and shared their wisdom and experience with me. Now it is my turn to share. I have been teaching for a few years and I love watching my students develop, enjoy the cello, learn new things, and become better at expressing themselves in the universal language of music. Whether you are a complete beginner or an intermediate/advanced level player, I would be happy to offer my guidance and perspective on anything you want to work on and improve. Aside from the technical part of the playing process, I can also be helpful in talking about performance anxiety, specifics of the music major education, preparation for auditions, building up your social media, etc. Contact me to set a lesson using the form below and I look forward to meeting you! Studio Policy This policy is in place to protect the student, the parent of the student, and the teacher and serves to ensure that lessons run smoothly. Lessons/Payment: Students may enroll in lessons at any time. Lessons will take place at the teacher’s studio in Vienna, Austria. Online lessons are facilitated using Skype/Facetime/Zoom. Tuition is paid monthly and is calculated by multiplying the lesson rate by 4 weeks (3 or 5 weeks for certain months). Additional lessons are allowed based on the teacher’s availability. If I am traveling for a big portion of the month, I will let you know in advance, so that the tuition for that month is multiplied by the number of weeks I will be at home. Single lessons in the form of a consultation or master class are available if you are not ready to commit to a monthly package. If you have special circumstances that prevent you from taking weekly lessons or traveling to my studio, please contact me directly and I will do my best to accommodate your situation. Tuition is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the first lesson of each month. Tuition is payable through Apprentus. For the consultation/single lesson, a one-time lesson fee is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson. Your timely payment serves as a confirmation of our time agreement. If I do not hear from you nor get the payment at least 24 hours before the lesson, I reserve the right to reschedule and/or cancel the scheduled lesson. Tardiness: The student will contact the teacher by phone if they expect to be late for a scheduled lesson. If a student arrives after their scheduled lesson time has begun, the teacher will complete the lesson in the remaining portion of the time slot. Additional time for student tardiness is not guaranteed. If the teacher arrives after a scheduled lesson has begun, the teacher will give additional time past the time slot to compensate for their tardiness with mutual acceptance of the student’s schedule. Rescheduling/Cancellations: Students must cancel/reschedule lessons by phone or email with at least 24-hour notice. Cancellations are considered excused for illness, family emergency, or severe weather (public school closures). Excused cancellations with sufficient notification will be given a make-up lesson within the month or lesson credit towards the following month. No-shows, cancellations without sufficient notification, or unexcused cancellations will not be given make-up lessons or lesson credits. The teacher may need to cancel a lesson due to illness or a family emergency and/or reschedule due to performance engagements or planned vacations. In this case, the teacher will provide a make-up lesson within the month or apply a lesson credit towards the following month. If desired, the make-up lesson can also be taken online via Skype. If a student cancels a re-scheduled make-up lesson, the lesson will be considered forfeited. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. If a make-up lesson is not possible, a lesson credit will be applied toward the following month. Copyright/class recordings: Lessons and seminars are considered intellectual property and may not be recorded (audio or video). The teacher is legally protected in case of a breach of this agreement. The teacher is entitled to immediate termination of the lesson/package without a refund if this rule is broken. The teacher is entitled to legal action in case of copyright infringement. Parental Involvement for younger students: I do not teach children below the age of 10 via Skype as they require hands-on work to form correct playing habits and posture. Students 10 years and younger must have a parent or guardian present at the lesson. The parent will take notes and act as the student’s “home teacher”. Parental involvement is welcomed and strongly encouraged for all students, but not required for students 10 years and older.

It was a real pleasure to have lessons with Emanuela. She is super responsive and great in communication; scheduling lessons was super easy as Emanuela is very flexible an well organized. The lessons were a great experience, tailored to my level and needs. She also put in extra work with preparing the lessons and sending a follow-up (incl. small exercise if needed). I do highly recommend her!

Absolutely fantastic. If you're looking for someone to guide you through TOK, Nathalia is the best person to do that. Extremely helpful and makes everything so easy to understand - which is notoriously difficult when it comes to TOK. If your mouse is hovering above the 'request a booking' button, click it. Sandra has been a great teacher! She was patient with me and my schedule and ever since our first lesson, she's been flexible and available for all of our lessons. I haven't taken Estonian in over 10 years and I'm excited to keep learning with Sandra. She has a good plan for learning Estonian that won't overwhelm a beginner!
