My name is Diana, I am 23 years old and am currently studying a Masters in Audiovisual Translation and Localisation (Spanish - English) at University of Leeds. I graduated in 2022 with a Bachelors Degree in Hispanic and German Studies from Queen Mary University of London. I have 1 years experience as a Spanish Teaching Assistant so I have the necessary knowledge to be able to teach my students in a way that they understand. Hence, each class will be different as I will adapt different methods of teaching based on the learning preference of each student. I thought mostly High School Students so I have experience in teaching GCSE and A level students. The classes will be based on the needs of my students. My aim is to ensure that my student understand any doubts they might have as well as building on their existing knowledge in order to increase their level and achieve excellent results in their learning. The classes will be taught in a way that it conforms to every students needs and will be given in a safe and friendly environment so that my students fell comfortable and come to classes confident. I will normally have a 30 mins meeting with my student before the first class (free of charge) to get to know each other. This will be an opportunity for my student to tell me what do they expect for me in terms of learning but will also be an opportunity for me to see the level of the student and aspects they are struggling with so that our first lesson will be as productive as possible. After each class I normally send the students by email a word document with everything that was covered during the class along with explanations and examples. In this way, the student will have notes that they can look back to when they will stick.
