I am a Sound Engineer and Music Producer, with a BA (Hons) in Creative Audio Production & Sound Engineering from Catalyst. I have professional experience working in recording studios and composing music for media projects, which I bring directly into my teaching. I have developed a drum manual using progressively harder exercises in dynamics, technique, coordination,polyrhythm, and balance-control, connected to the importance of sound,rhythms of different musical genres, the groove and the jazz music. This manual arose from a need for a complete drum manual that includes the most important aspects of modern drumming, but also sticking to classic drumming rhythms and techniques. It is partly inspired by various musical authors who have helped shape me musically over the years, and partly by my various teachers and studies, but also by my own teaching experience, my concerts and my recordings. It’s therefore also modelled on my own personal drumming style. My method is aimed both at those who have just started and for those who already play in an advanced way. I’m a Music Producer with experience in sound design and composition for moving image. I have been using Ableton as my main daw for 12 years for electronic music production, ranging from pop and experimental music to studio recording sessions. 
In the last few years, I’ve been focusing on assisting producers and songwriters with developing and improving their live electronic performance workflow. I can also provide consultancy on this topic, whether you’re interested in performing or rearranging your material. This course is recommended for anyone who wants to discover the basics of Ableton Live or learn new music production techniques to extend their practice.
