Hello! In this class, you will learn how to think on your own and adapt to different scenarios when working on Math problems. You will not just know how to solve questions, but you'll begin to understand why each question is solved in its own way. I enjoy teaching Mathematics and Physics. I teach any age up to GCSE, including 11+ and Common Entrance. Hi there! I am a 25-year-old living in London and I currently tutor full time. I graduated in 2016 from the University of Manchester with a first-class degree in Actuarial Science and Mathematics. I am not a typical Mathematician... I am confident, fun and bubbly! I know exactly how it feels to feel lost in Maths that was me just a couple of years ago. I specialize in tutoring GCSE and A-level students hoping to push themselves to achieve their academic goals. My method is quite simple. Each session will be focused on one subtopic in the curriculum, for example, surds. I will begin with a short mini-test to see what level they are currently working at, this will help me adjust the lesson accordingly. We will subsequently go through the topics material and finish with a few questions, the last of which will be very challenging. I am a strong believer that each student can be their own teacher. Often, I like to take a step back and allow for students to really think about each stage of their working themselves. Mathematics can quite easily be seen as a subject where you learn a formula and put in your values, but it can actually be so much more than that. I have been tutoring since year 10, beginning with a student in the year above me helping them to achieve their A target.
