Guitar and bass in English! Guitar, Electric Bass, Ableton Live and Song Production!Translate this text using Google Translate.

As a music producer I've had recent releases on Crosstown Rebels UK and Codek Records UK/CH in 2025. If you search my name you will find my music which stylistically comes out of my years as a professional club DJ in New York City and Geneva more recently. As an instructor I work with students from beginner to advanced on guitar, electric bass, Ableton live, mixing and song production. I work to make lessons fun while teaching you the skills you need to play the music and songs you love. Additionally, I teach techniques that allow you to learn songs independently, while discussing the theory and mechanics of music in the context of the songs we're working on. With a deep knowledge of different musical styles that make people dance, I place particular emphasis on rhythm and using your ear, how you listen when you're playing music—how to recognize your emotional and physical experience when you're playing well. This can happen at any level. 🎶 Adjunct Professor of Electronic Music at Long Island University for four years, specializing in music software composition. 🎶 Guitar and bass teacher at Ecolint's Le Grand Boissière and GEMS Academy in Etoy. 🎶 DJ in New York and in Geneva, primarily for events organized by local Swiss art and music associations. 🎶Musical training in the professional music scene. 🎶Studied jazz improvisation and, at 20, became a member of a seven-piece band in NYC, whose album "The Sound of Konk" is considered an important document of that creative era. 🎶Music producer for the Children's Television Workshop (Sesame Street) and coach for the musical performances of the child actors. Numerous independent dance music releases. Please check with me directly for availability.

Professional Bassist with 19 Years of Experience In Various Styles (Funk, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Punk and more!)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hi, my name is Jeremy and I've played music for 19 years, having performed over 200 concerts and composed with a wide variety of groups and ensembles across England and Belgium in many genres (Funk, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Punk and more). I have completed 3 years of intensive bass study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and am currently playing bass plus backing-vocals and song arrangement for Kids of the Elephant and Arrubio. In these lessons, I will help you reach your goals while having fun in the process, keeping the lessons structured and tailored to your personal needs. I have 5 years of experience helping students improve as well as specialist knowledge in a multitude of styles. Some examples of what you might learn include: - Correct hand positioning & posture for best performance and faster learning. - Learning your favorite songs quickly and easily. - Breaking down rhythms & dynamics - Understanding the role of bass playing in a band. - Understanding what makes a good bassline and composing your own. - Essential music theory for bass & more advanced techniques (eg: melodic techniques, rhythmic, slap bass, etc) - How to improvise, jam and play with other musicians. Appropriate homework/exercises and recordings are provided during lessons. I also like to give advice and direction for people with musical aspirations. I'm also an empathetic person that loves teaching, so don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

Professional Bass Player With More Than 20 Years of Experience Offers Bass LessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Professional Bass Player With More Than 20 Years of Experience Offers Bass LessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

My teaching centers on giving students a clear sense of direction, not just isolated tips. In our first lesson, I like to lay out a loose roadmap of where we're headed over the next few months, so progress feels concrete and intentional rather than vague. From there, I adapt closely to each student's actual goals — whether that's developing groove and time feel, expanding jazz vocabulary and harmonic understanding, or applying music theory directly on the neck. Because my own background spans classical composition, jazz performance, and Ableton production, I teach bass and music production as genuinely connected skills. For bass students, this often means building technique and vocabulary while also understanding the harmonic role the bass plays in a piece — inversions, voice leading, and how a bassline shapes the music around it, not just what notes to play. For production students, I bring the same structured approach to Ableton workflow, arrangement, and sound design, always grounding technical tools in the musical decisions they're meant to serve. Above all, I aim to meet students where they are and give them a clear, achievable sense of what mastery looks like at each stage, so that every lesson builds visibly toward something larger.

After only a few lessons with Jeremy, I can say that he helped me progress more than I was able to achieve in 2 years trying to learn the bass through Youtube videos… He helped with the theoretical aspects as well as with my playing technique. He is very methodical and adapts to your needs and requests, and he also provided me with homework and very helpful tips and practice exercices. Highly recommended!

I have had lessons with Jonny for more than two months now and am very happy to have found him. He tailors his teaching to your musical interests and skill level, is fun and instructive, and always has a few concrete tips you can immediately take away and apply to your playing. Will definitely continue!

Axel is really patient and has a laid back attitude to teaching yet still manages to accomplish a lot in one lesson. He explains things very patiently and breaks everything down into manageable pieces. He's an excellent teacher and I can’t recommend him enough.
