Trusted teacher: Double-degree in Arts and Trades ParisTech and Centralesupelec / Baccalaureat Scientific honors / 20/20 in mathematics / preparatory class MPSI / MP * / 5 years of tutoring experience / more than 30 regular students + volunteer in associations of help with homework for students in great difficulty Do you want to significantly increase the mathematical average of your child? Do you want him to integrate a selective curriculum? Do you want it to become autonomous? For 5 years, I have helped more than 30 French high school students at universities and schools to achieve their goals (passage, bac, PREPA) My method in 3 points: - In the short term, increase the average significantly by assimilating the course and preparing the next tests (assimilate the course, write cards, practice the exercises, anticipate the teacher's expectations and test questions, have methods of writing) - in the medium term, integrate the methods of reasoning and work (learn to work regularly in this order: assimilation, training exercise, preparation of the test and analysis of the test passes) - in the long term, set a goal, build the steps to achieve this goal, become aware of the SIMPLICITY of math, have confidence in its capabilities, unleash its potential) The formula: a lesson of 1h30 / 2h * per week for the assimilation of the current chapter + a course before the test * I recommend two courses for high students in preparatory class # 1: The first class is a test class # 2: I'm moving to your home # 3: Your child can contact me when he wants # 4: I'm a comedian stand up comedian and perform every week in London comedy clubs, with me the maths are fun! If you want to increase the mathematical results of your child, contact me before the next test!

I have tutored in sciences and maths for the past couple of years and have a strong passion for Chemistry. I currently study this at university having just finished first year with a first and two modules at 98+%. The tutoring began with a small group set up through the school and then progressed to me seeing students outside of school. One of these students has now increased by three grades in maths!! I am confident in tutoring all areas of Chemistry, Biology and Maths at GCSE level and will progressively work through the course which can be tailored to students needs. I personally find the best way to learn is a combination between consolidating knowledge and then furthering that knowledge through past papers and analysis of mark schemes. The understanding of what the examiners are looking for is crucial in order to achieve high marks and sometimes students can move up grades with no extra knowledge and purely through the understanding of what the question is looking for. The goal is to help students enjoy learning and feel supported in crucial years of their life. Optional homework tasks can be given along with progress reports open to requests for content
In my GCSE's I got a 7 in physics and an 8 in chemistry and biology. I worked hard and put a lot of revision into these subjects to ensure I got the best grades possible. In the tutoring sessions, I can cater to what the student needs, whether they want to go over class work, make revision resources, help with their homework or just have a chat about a particular topic. I want to help ensure they get the best possible grades they can. I am a very committed and dedicate person so will always go the extra mile to help you.

Trusted teacher: As the level of the courses increases over the years, taking advantage of a young student who has experience as a versatile private teacher is often a major asset to perform and then fly to great studies! First of all, when am I available? From September 2020, until 2023 if follow-up over several years is desired. What is my experience in private lessons? I have been giving private lessons for 5 years now. Throughout the last 3 years 2017-2020, I followed 2 students of the French Lycée Charles de Gaulle: a student from 5th to 3rd and a student from 2nd to 12th, at a rate of 2 and 3 hours per week respectively. I have pushed them both towards excellence, my students having averaged 20.5 and 18.7 on their patent and baccalaureate respectively. My final year student joined LSE for an excellent Bachelor in General Economics; and I had the opportunity to prepare him for this new stage by preparing him on certain prerequisite subjects of the Bachelor that the French program does not cover. I thus have a complete knowledge of the scientific programs from the 5th to the terminale, I am aware of the reform of the year 2020/2021, I was recently able to prepare students for the patent and the bac, and I know the systems leading to English universities as well as French preparatory classes. I also gave private lessons for 2 years in France, with high school students. I was also hired by Centrale Lyon for 1 year to tutor in physics for 1st year students. With the health crisis, between March and September 2020, I was also able to learn to take regular lessons by Skype while maintaining effective monitoring. Who am I? I am in September 2020/2021 in the 2nd year of my PhD at Imperial College London, working in biomechanics on a subject bringing together mathematics, chemistry, mechanical physics, computer science and biology. Initially, I come from a small provincial high school where I had my bac S in 2013 with the congratulations of the jury. I subsequently made preparations for Henri IV and Louis-Le-Grand in Paris. I have a double degree since 2019: Centrale Lyon in general engineering and Imperial College London for a master's degree in mechanics - civil engineering - biomechanics, for which I received the award of excellence. My current PhD takes me until 2023 on the South Kensington campus. And who am I as a teacher? - I am now 24 years old and my memories of my 13-17 years are still fresh: I understand most of the feelings of my students, feelings that I have known myself: stress, laziness, discouragement after a bad note, being overloaded with work and subjects ... I have always been on great terms with my students, which gives relaxed, funny and effective lessons, with confident students. - I'm honest and I like a job well done! I teach to help and get results, and I don't let go until it's done. - I am kind and very attentive: I keep abreast of the progress and results of my students, I encourage them and answer their questions by messages outside of class if they need it. What are my strengths? - I come out of a fresh experience with two students of different ages and characters, allowing me to adapt quickly, to quickly understand the difficulties (or the talent) and to adjust my teaching to each student. - Thanks to my 7 years of studies, I have a high level in the scientific subjects offered in secondary school, allowing me to give very clear and colorful explanations to help understanding. - My mother being a French teacher in high school, I have a good understanding of the teachers and how they work. - I train my students as much as I can to be rigorous in their working method, calculations and results reporting, with a view to good results but also to arrive in higher education with a solid background and working method . Do not hesitate to contact me, Looking forward to having once again the opportunity to make my students succeed in a good atmosphere, Wishing you a Happy New Year! Arnault

Trusted teacher: Science is very interesting and important for understanding of life around us. My science lessons are easy and uses techniques to help student understand concepts easily. As we would not have all the lab resources to understand things. I use examples and power point lessons that make this easy. My focus is also based on exam techniques , so in real exam student is not at disadvantage as they would have understanding and enough practice of exam style questions.

Trusted teacher: Specialized tutoring for maths, physics and chemistry A-Level's and GCSE's. I like to fuse better exam performances (improving exam techniques for example) with a deeper understanding of the subject. "Give a student proper exam technique, and you teach him for a test. Teach a student to think, and you teach him for a lifetime." Both approaches are valid, but I believe I add substantial value to students education by developing a deeper understanding of a subject in addition to testing practice. I also provide general problem solving tutoring beneficial for professional tests, school entry exams and those who just want to improve their critical thinking.

Trusted teacher: I am a nice, friendly 20 year old studying Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Queen Mary University who just finished my A levels in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. I also did AS Psychology in which I got an A. I am confident in teaching these subjects at a Primary, GCSE and A level standard. I will teach using my own materials and past exam questions. I also believe it is important for students to fully understand what they are learning so that they can apply the skills learnt to any exam question or situation. I will try my best to bring out the potential in every student. As someone who is an actual student, I will be able to put myself into their shoes to help them learn without overwhelming the student.

Trusted teacher: Teaching provides a unique opportunity to shape lives and influence young people towards a responsible future, hence, my passion for teaching. As one with a passion for Mathematics and Science, I understand that many students face real challenges grasping the concepts of the subject. Hence, teaching provides me the avenue to tackle this. while also making a contribution; giving back to the society in a way that enriches me, challenging me towards further growth and self-development. In view of the recent Coronavirus and schools suspension, learning has been rescheduled to hold mostly online. Considering the importance of children receiving constant learning support for their education at this time, I am therefore offering either in-house or online tuition whichever works better for students.

I specialise in biology, chemistry and maths or (the sciences) at all levels from ages 4-17. My aim is to set small targets Each session to help achieve the end goal of the student. Regular test will be set on topics frequently to ensure everything taught is fixed in their long term memory. Exam technique - Sometimes we are amazing at knowing all the right content but not knowing exactly how to answer exam questions. It’s ok because this is a skill that has to be taught. We will break down questions into categories of their key words and i will teach the student how to answer it. Once that is done the student will have time (in lesson or out of lesson) to practice how to answer the questions. Overall my aim is not to teach the student to memorise but to teach them to understand so they can apply their knowledge in any scenario. I also teach drama to primary and secondary students consisting of trips and physical activity

I specialise in science and maths tutoring for GCSE and A-level students, or for anyone looking to further their knowledge in these areas. I am experienced in tutoring virtually as well as in person. I aim to challenge my students whilst helping to grow their confidence in these areas. I also give revision tips and strategies for answering exam questions. In the first session, we will put together a list of topics that the student finds most challenging and would like to cover. In the following tutorials, I will spend the first half explaining the topic, particularly tackling any particular issues that the student would like to go through with this topic. In the next half of the session, we will go through exam questions together and the student can ask me any questions that they may have from work set in the classroom. I will prepare the tutorials in advance with the aim of including helpful diagrams, notes and examples to go through in the sessions, I also include a copy of the specification for that topic, highlighting any key points. I set a couple of homework questions after the tutorial sessions in order to consolidate what we covered in the session. I will include my copy of the answers, but if they have any questions or problems we can sort them out in the next tutorial. Where possible, I will also try and give some ‘real life context’ to topics and questions, in order to demonstrate their importance and to inspire my students!
