Sewing and wearing self-made clothes made of new material is something very special in and of itself. It is even more exciting to sew a dress from second hand clothes, curtains, duvet covers or bathrobes, especially if these also have a special sentimental meaning. If you can't sew yet, I'll teach you. If you don't have any fabrics yourself, I also offer a selection of various washed second hand fabrics that we can process. The course includes - the design and manufacture of your own pattern in katcouture style (see photo) for your dress - The selection, quality control, and maximum use of existing substances / materials - Cutting and ironing the pieces of fabric with the help of the pattern / template - Basic techniques of sewing on the sewing machine and how it works - Tips & tricks that can also be used for future sewing projects Since everyone is very individual when it comes to the amount of time they need, the times are set individually and charged hourly. The lessons take place in Au/Haidhausen. Course suitable for everyone between 13 – 75 who has good motor skills and dexterity :)

This class offers a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to traditional Savile Row bespoke jacket and coat making, covering every stage of the making process from cutting the cloth to the final fitting and finishing. Students will be guided through the exact methods used in established Savile Row tailoring houses, with a strong emphasis on hand craftsmanship, structure, and precision. The course focuses on building a garment using traditional canvassed construction, teaching students how each component works together to create balance, durability, and the distinctive Savile Row silhouette. Attention is given not only to technique, but also to developing an understanding of why each step is performed, allowing students to produce garments to a professional bespoke standard. This class is suitable for those with basic sewing knowledge as well as tailors looking to refine their making skills to true Savile Row bespoke standards. What Will Be Taught 1.
