Maths / Physics course for primary / secondary students

Graduated in mathematics and physics, I offer my help to students who encounter difficulties in these two subjects. My approach is to review with them the key points of the lessons and to assist them in their homework, whether at home or through online sessions via webcam. My goal is to help the student understand his course and his exercises, and to guide him on the right path so that he can succeed in his school or university year. I support students of all levels, from 14 years old to the second year of university, in the fields of science, economics or any other field where courses in mathematics, statistics, computer science and physics are exempted. Classes can be given at home (with a price including the class and travel expenses) or by webcam (with a specific price for the online course). For rehearsal sessions, I generally recommend between 1 and 2 hours per week, and up to 10 hours per week for intensive review and refresher courses.

Tutoring in French, maths and physics I like to base my lessons on the active participation of the student by letting him try for himself often with leads that I give him instead of giving the ready-made answer. This allows, I am convinced, a better and more lasting understanding, and gives meaning to what we do. It also helps to find which method or approach works best for each student, which I find important. That's why I like that the student has tried some exercises for himself before the lesson, to use our lesson time as well as possible.

I propose to give math and English lessons for any level. I got my gymnasiale maturity (college of geneva) in 2015 (old Greek option). I am now a student-athlete (basketball) in the United States, and for 2 years. I am in Geneva until August. I feel particularly comfortable in these 2 disciplines. Firstly in maths, a branch that has always been my favorite. Secondly in English, language that I already mastered at my matu and that I practice daily for about 2 years.
