About Me

I started playing music at the age of 9. Very quickly, I knew that I wanted to do my job. After a classical course at the Conservatory of Ciney, I wanted to try the electric guitar! I met my first mentor at Ciney's Rock's Cool, Pascal Riflart. He taught me the basics of techniques, and motivated me to make my profession!

I was fortunate in 2002 to study in England, where I had classes with Shaun Baxter.

Back in Belgium, I started working as a freelance to discover a passion for studio work. So I persevered in this area in which I still work today.

As music is a field where you learn every day, I took regular lessons with Jon Finn (Professor of Berklee) and Jamie Humphries (Guitar Techniques).

--About me--
I have been a guitar teacher for over 20 years, giving private lessons, teaching at music schools (Kraainem, Waterloo, Enghien), and leading workshops (AKDT). I started playing guitar 30 years ago and have never stopped. I've explored all styles: from classical to pop songs, then electric guitar: blues, rock, and jazz (with Frankie Rose). Later, I developed my skills in flamenco (with Karim Baggili), Brazilian music (with Osman Martins), Gypsy music, and Eastern European music (with Tcha Limberger). I am also well-versed in Gypsy jazz. Therefore, I can teach all levels and styles. I teach music theory alongside the practical exercises so that the material is absorbed naturally. I have experience teaching both children and adults. I also teach electric bass and ukulele.
