Being competent in tabliture, scales, keys, and a lot of the theory and technical aspects of these instruments, I am offering lessons for all ability lessons and ages. I have been teaching for just over a year now to students from as young as 6 and as old as 50, some with special needs and learning difficulties, motor function deficiencies etc. This has given me an excellent window into the life of teaching and tutoring music and being able to discover what allows you to learn most effectively.

I think one of the most important things when teaching anyone the craft of Music is to keep them interested and engaged. I have been through many different schools, tutors and teachers to come up with my own means of teaching which make sure students WANT to practice, learn and not smash their guitar into the wall when they get frustrated. I have played electric guitar for 10 years, bass for 6 years, I have been producing and recording (on Logic Pro) for 6 years, studied theory for 5 years and I am a recording artist with music on Spotify, Apple Music and Youtube. I am in my last year of completing my music degree, which I am a high ranking student scoring 1st's (almost) all round. What separates me from other teachers is my relationship with my students, my two main priorities are: 1.Making sure my student understands 2. Making sure they are interested and enthusiastic. (I believe you can't have one without the other...) I am very patient and thorough with my work and i always ensure every lesson is nothing but fun, productive and enjoyable.

Hi, I am Fausto. I am an Italian musician, trained in the classical guitar. I have been studying guitar since the age of fifteen at the conservatory in Sicily. I finished my degree at the BENEDETTO MARCELLO conservatory in Venice. I compose my own music in the classical style with the guitar. Within the genre of classical music I play, for example, Bach and Giuliani. As an electrical guitarist, I am used to playing with the fender sound, blues, and jazz. I offer lessons for people who would like a start in the guitar world. I enjoy teaching all ages and I am open to see what and how you would like to learn. We can learn the technical way or be more open with playing. For example with children, I am used to teaching with the book from the composer Sagreras. However, I am open if you'd like to improve in some song which you love!;) The music is my life, playing and learning new things is always what I'm looking up. I like teaching because having the possibility to give something really amazing to someone makes me happy and more real with myself. If someone loves playing and needs help, it would be amazing to be as helpful as people have been with me If you need some Italian lessons I am also Italian and I can offer Italian teaching as well. If You need some lessons you can count on me for conversation or grammatically lessons.

During my one to one singing sessions I work with the individual needs of the student and determine what learning approach would best suit them. I have some keen singers and we enjoy singing together and working on favourites for small performances. I also teach guitar in line with the type of music that the student most enjoys and is motivated to play. With my younger students basic action songs and nursery rhymes can form a large part of the sessions, if they enjoy movement and joining in.

I hold a Diploma certificate in Modern Guitar released by Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, Italy. My experience in teaching music of every genre helped me to develop an interest, as well perseverance and patience towards each student's progress. I have followed their music taste, their inclination, and their personality with strong professional ethics. The more they succeeded, the more I succeeded as a teacher. Each lesson will be focused on playing instrument, learning songs and working on a personal style. Moreover, I strongly believe that a music journey is successful when the student's personal creativity and their technical skills are intertwined. To do so, I included the use of a professional DAW software such as Steinberg Cubase during my lessons.
This class is for anyone who's looking to pick up a new musical instrument! It'll be up to the student or parent how they would like classes conducted and whether they would prefer to have assignments. It would be delightful to meet people from all ages and all walks of life.
