As a multidisciplinary artist, I believe that strong digital work is rooted in traditional mastery. This course combines the tactile logic of oil painting and watercolors with the power of Photoshop and digital design. We begin with the core fundamentals, anatomy, still life, and composition before transitioning those skills into the digital space. You will learn to control digital brushes, build convincing lighting, and apply color with intention. We move beyond simple tutorials to tackle character design, surreal environments, and professional workflows. By the end of this course, you will have a body of polished, original work and a deep understanding of the design fundamentals that make an image successful in any medium. By the end, you’ll produce portfolio-ready artworks and understand a professional workflow from sketch to finish. Each session combines hands-on exercises with discussion of artistic choices, so you strengthen both technical skill and creative judgment. This course is for beginners and intermediate artists who want to go beyond tutorials and actually build a body of polished, original work.

I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer with fifteen years of experience. I studied art and architecture at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Columbia University in New York. I teach painting, drawing, digital image and creativity. This class is ideal for beginners but also intermediate students who want to develop their own style. For my personal projects, I work in a wide range of mediums, from drawing, painting and printmaking to digital image and 3D Printing. When teaching, I prefer to first focus on free-hand drawing and painting as this allows for greater spontaneity regardless of the student's technical level. We later explore other methods based on the student's individual interests. I like to teach children and adults via mini projects involving art history references and help them develop narratives around their work. I deeply believe in people's creative potential and in my classes will help you channel your own voice.

Digital Art – from idea to independent work In this course, I'll teach you the basics of digital art. We'll start with the foundation: how to translate ideas into images, how to work digitally with layers, shapes, color, and composition, and how to use different techniques and tools within a single creative process. My focus is on thinking as a creator. I teach you not only how to create digital art, but especially how to justify choices, experiment, and develop your own direction. I see digital tools as an extension of your creativity, not an end in themselves. Each age is special and different visual styles can be worked upon and the outcomes can often be surprisingly authentic. Those anticipations are the basis of each class. My classes are designed through collaborations when it comes to experimentations or intersected fields and mediums, which is an option and pertinent characteristic of approach. Classes are applicable to students who are 16+ of all levels . Personal Portfolio Class: If you are considering applying for art school or design school, you might want to prepare yourself and build a convincing portfolio, perhaps improve your presentation skill or even some confidence boost for interviews. We will first explore what talents you already have and those you will want/need to have, the goal is to help you develop your creativity and curiosity as well as your artistic skills and most importantly find out your inner talent for a direction that will suit you, whether in education or self-development. And we will do a live rehearsal for your interview for the best presentation result and confidence boost. Overall, It'll help you cultivate the soft and hard skills you need to be more confident setting and resetting expectations, strengthening relationships, and taking your projects across the finish line without any cold sweat. For teenagers: are highly encouraged to experiment with different materials and techniques and preferably through themes - selected by me or the student's likings as well. We will also look at specific Artists and Painters, as well as specific Art History periods, and the kids will then be encouraged to play around and recreate their own version of the Artist or period. Needless to say that class do not necessarily mean free-time activity, the academic material is intentionally or not(unconsciously) always a present element of my instructive performance. Therefore, the game becomes a teaching/learning relation, whilst teaching and learning turn into a recreational joyful moment for all participants.
