I hope to share the joy of playing the double bass and the piano through teaching. It is so pleasant to make music and I wish to let more people know about it. The classes are very flexible. You can expect leisure music playing but also intensive trainings. Lessons will be designed according to students’ intentions. I am able to teach in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Feel free to reach out :) I have been playing the double bass for more than 10 years and have recently obtained my master degree in double bass from Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I started playing the piano when I was 10. On top of classical, I also play a lot of Christian and pop music on the piano, which I am also happy to teach.

My name is Wimian Hernandez. I am from Cuba and I am graduated from the Royal Conservatory of the Hague with a Master degree in Classical Double bass.I am currently doing the Academy of NederlandPhilharmonic and Kamerorkest I have been in the world of Classical music since 15 years ago having a complete education in Piano, Theory music double bass and Music History. Since I arrived in the Hague (almost 4 years ago) I started to teach the piano to kids and It has been wonderful to see how they progress and how fast they learn it. My name is Andrea , I am a professional double bass player who obtained the Master Degree in classical Double Bass at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I am active as a Double Bass player in different orchestras and ensembles, having the chance to perform in the most famous theathers of The Netherlands. Together, we determine the direction we take, with the joy of playing always coming first. All professional teaching methods I use include online play-along audio. This allows you to practice flexibly and interactively at home with complete rhythm sections and accompaniments in styles such as Pop, Funk, Jazz, Latin, or Classical. Double bass for young bassists (6-12 years). For young children, I use specially developed, playful, and effective methods such as Vamoosh (Thomas Gregory) or Bass is Best! (Caroline Emery). This way, from the very first lesson, we build a solid, healthy basic technique in a fun way. Your choice of repertoire and concepts. About the Lesson: Are you a music enthusiast that wants to start learning how to play? Are you an already good player but you want to further develop your skills? In these lessons, we will create a curriculum together, based on your wishes, needs and musical taste. Our goal is for you to be able to express yourself through your instrument. Basles for young and old Everyone is welcome: young and old. Age does not matter. It is never too late to learn to play a musical instrument. Making music is fun and healthy! Basles for beginners and advanced Everyone is welcome: beginners and advanced. Your entry level doesn't matter. Playing bass guitar is my specialization and I can teach everyone a lot. During a trial lesson we look at what you can already do and what you would like to learn, what your inspirations are and who your idols are. From there we make a plan and we give substance to the lesson. Basles: what do you learn? In consultation with you I give substance to the lesson. Together we will see which music styles, bands and artists you like. We can then choose songs that suit your level and ambitions and I will teach you how to play these songs. I regularly perform live with various projects in prestigious venues and jazz clubs, and I have recorded bass on 15 albums, (jazz and pop), on both double bass and electric bass.
