My name is Ron, a dedicated Dutch tutor based in Suriname. Originally trained as an HVAC engineer with the intention of continuing my father’s legacy, I transitioned into teaching during the pandemic after discovering my passion for language education. This shift allowed me to embrace remote work while connecting with learners globally. With a friendly and adaptable approach, I prioritize creating engaging, personalized lessons that foster confidence in conversational Dutch. Outside of teaching, I take pride in my family life as a happily married professional who finds fulfillment in helping others achieve their language goals.

If your child can use some extra support with, for example, counting, (reading) reading or writing, I would like to offer my help. I have been giving tutoring to children of different ages for a few years now. I also have a lot of experience as a babysitter and as an au pair, so I'm used to working with children and helping them get ahead and helping them see how much they can actually do! At the moment, I only have time available on weekdays in the morning or early afternoon, for which I have lowered the rate.
