Trusted teacher: The reading aloud workshop is open to everyone, beginners or not, native French speakers or not, in order to learn or improve the art of reading aloud. This workshop allows both to address the technical issues of reading aloud (meaning, breathing, rhythm, phrasing, musicality ...) but also to share with other participants his taste for literature, to discover texts or authors. The sessions begin with a physical and vocal warm-up, work on breathing and voice. Each participant comes with one or two texts of their choice. During the session, excerpts from these texts are read, one or more times. They are the subject of comments by the workshop facilitator. These comments come to enlighten the reader on the perception of his reading. objectives: It is about teaching the student to master a range of reading strategies to refine and expand throughout his life. Once the learner reads fluently, strategies, such as establishing links between the text and his experience, anticipating what will follow, interpreting the implicit nature of the text, summarizing it, etc. will be addressed explicitly. Advantages : Explicit and functional teaching of reading in Spanish & French; possibility of working on authentic texts, on literature albums reinforcing motivation through their emotional side; pedagogical freedom of the teacher, who is not stuck by a framework imposed by a textbook; reading and writing are considered together, which reinforces the learning of these two skills. Our method in brief: Discuss with the participants so that they know what “reading” is, and enrich their vocabulary to promote learning to read. strengthen phonemic awareness. the pupil should be able to decompose a word heard into its successive phonemes; link reading and writing (which concretizes the relationship between oral and written). Copies and dictations are not enough, children must be made very early on to produce small free sentences or those imitating a given structure. Learning materials and supports: to facilitate written productions, gradually create a word bank displayed in class, organized thematically or alphabetically. Break down each word into syllables, observe its spelling… Tool words, which are frequent and often difficult, should be included as a priority. Each person can also have a "word box" of which he will personalize the content in an emotional way; choose various types of texts: narrative, informative…; propose various exercises of composition and variation of words and syllables using letters to manipulate, more concrete and mobilizing the kinesthetic memory; create reading games to make learning more motivating and therefore more effective; Familiarize yourself with the variations in writing (handwritten, printed, etc.).

Trusted teacher: Dear job seekers, Are you the fresh graduate who desire to land your dream job? Or are you the current employee who wish to have a fresher start in a bigger and better position? If you know where you want to arrive, but don't know where to start. Or you know that you have what it takes, but don't know why your application was rejected multiple times. Then don't hesitate to book a job coaching session with me! About me: I am the Finance Management Trainee (UFLP) at Unilever Netherlands B.V. I surpassed approximately 400 applications to become the only Non-EEU and non Dutch-speaking person to be chosen. Besides the offer at Unilever, I landed 2 other offers in big multinational companies. Without doubt, I do not neglect the power of a good profile. However, being fit is more important than being the best. I have lots of obstacles against my background, but I still got chosen, so I have strong confidence that you can also become a good candidate for your dream job. I also have understanding of what companies look for in their candidates, especially multinationals. What I can offer: This is not a course, which means that all of your concerns can be solved in just one session. I will 1. Understand your story, your profile; 2. Identify the match between what you have and what the job wants; 3. Give advice on your application' s strengths, weaknesses, and the most effective route for you to improve the chances. Besides, you can choose to focus on: - CV/Resume check - Cover/Motivation letter - LinkedIn profile - Interview skills: What to prepare, what to do, what not to do - Assessment center skills: For some types of programs, such as Management trainee, you will have to complete a day assessment along with other candidates - Mentality/Consolation during job application journey If you have any further request, let me know specifically. See you in a session!

German Tutor for Any Level (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced) (The Hague)
Saniah

Saniah is really fantastic - my son (14.5 yrs) and I enrolled for '1-1' classes with her, mainly to improve our conversational fluency/ease (our main focus right now), and from even the first few minutes we immediately were at ease, feeling relaxed and open in trying and warming up our German. Saniah kept us challenged, yet not at a frustrating level, and thus very engaged, and was patient in correcting us and helping us to explore the interesting conversations that came up over the two hours of the lesson. Saniah is a very well informed and thoughtful person, with an international and well-travelled background, and we managed to cover a lot of ground exploring interesting and current topics; she also gave us great German book/movie recommendations, plus followed up with adding extra vocab lists and assignments if we wished. We have had only one lesson so far, but are very much looking forward to the next one - certainly exceeded expectations and very happy with the outcome.
