I am bilingual Dutch-English with a lot of speaking and writing experience, speak English daily with my Australian partner and enjoy passing on my knowledge to others. In addition, I have a lot of patience for people who have difficulties with different parts of English. I can offer help with sentence structure, grammar, pronunciation, reading skills and vocabulary practice, in order to give you or your child more certainty and guidance in the language. With students I focus on the problem points that exist and I use the school method. If, for example, it appears that a solid foundation is still missing, I can jump in and offer support in learning this. For (young) adults who are not (or no longer) in school, we will mainly focus on vocabulary, correct sentence structure and grammar in the beginners' lessons. However, I also quickly start speaking, reading and listening. With advanced students I focus on, among other things, speaking and listening skills and advanced word use by holding conversations together, watching documentaries and reading books. For starting students I use the books of "English for Everyone" and expand my lessons myself with extra materials, such as tailor-made exercises. Nothing else is required, and everything is possible in consultation.

There’s no overstating how important a role a teacher can play in one’s life. Peter is a great professional and I will recommend him to everyone who wants to learn or to improve the language. Nayeli is an excellent teacher who designs your lessons according to your level but also your areas of interest. She uses various teaching methods and materials including writing exercises, videos, audio materials, and fun games. She also prepares individual PowerPoint presentations and homework for you, which you receive after each lesson. I am really enjoying my lessons with her as she is very kind, patient, and open-minded.
