Through targeted, personalized tutoring, I help students close those gaps and finally truly understand the material. I explain difficult topics clearly and step-by-step, so students not only get better grades but also regain confidence and peace of mind during tests and exams. I have a VWO Science & Health background and am studying in the medical/dental field, which gives me a lot of experience with science subjects such as chemistry, biochemistry and mathematics. I can tutor in Mathematics B, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, French, English, and Philosophy. And I can tutor secondary school students of all levels and years. (I cannot tutor Philosophy to HAVO students because this is a very different subject than at VWO). I am flexible and can adapt to what the student prefers; helping with homework or explaining the material, etc. I work in a structured manner and can explain things clearly. The goal of my lessons is to ensure that the student understands the material better, so that the student can apply the material independently to unfamiliar problems.

I am a Physics graduate and currently a PhD researcher in Planetary Exploration at TU Delft. My research focuses on planetary science and space exploration, and I have always been passionate about making science accessible, interesting, and exciting to others. I have previous experience teaching Physics to middle and high school students within the Greek educational system, as well as teaching experience at university level. I offer Physics lessons in English or Greek, with a focus on understanding the concepts behind the equations, developing strong problem-solving skills, and building confidence. I especially enjoy science communication and helping students see Physics not just as a school subject, but as a way of understanding how the world — and even other worlds — work.

In class, we will cover all subjects related to biology and medicine that the student wants and considers important. This is of course often about the material that is tested at school, but if there is a need for my knowledge in the medical/medical field, I can also put together challenging lessons for that. For example, if there are students who feel attracted by the study of medicine, I can help them discover whether it is something for them through the lessons and help them further on their way.

I am currently a third year student in pre-med at Erasmus University College, and a second year in mechanical engineering at TU Delft. I am proficient in teaching in English and can explain stuff in Dutch, but at a slightly slower pace as it is my second language. I can essentially tutor all STEM subjects with a week's notice due to my coursework in almost all field but here is a list I am most comfortable with: Mathematics, Physics, Biology (not plant biology), Chemistry, Computer science (Matlab and Python), principles of engineering design (including SolidWorks) and Economics. My previous experience with teaching is both at a university level as an education and research assistant for Behavioural Economics, and as a part-time high school teacher for biology and Mathematics. In my free time, I like to play tennis and grab a drink with my friends – I am extremely compassionate, but I value my time and hope that you can match my enthusiasm in class. As with a lot of things in life, it can be a hard step, and there is no shame in asking for help. Here comes my role: I will help you overcome your problems and your difficulties. My job here is to help you achieve your desired results and unlock your potential. Simply put, we will go through every lesson, every unit, and every chapter. I hold a Doctorate in Pharmacy and 2 Masters degrees from the University of Paris V René-Descartes.
