My youngest students are 5 years old, my oldest are over 60. About me: I am Kristóf i, a practicing flautist, composer and pianist. I studied flute and composition at the Liszt Academy in Budapest and at the University of Arts in Berlin and have participated in many projects based on the wide repertoire of so-called classical music, including playing in symphony orchestras, in many chamber music groups and as a soloist, pop, rock and jazz music, folk music, experimental genres and contemporary music, performance art, theater music, sound painting and free improvisation, electronic music and so on. I come from a family of musicians and have been playing and learning flute and piano intensively since I was five years old. My whole life revolves around music and finding connections between classical music, pop genres, folk music and experimental/modern directions. I come from a musician family and have been intensively playing and learning the flute and the piano since the age of 5. My whole life is around music and finding connections between classical music, pop genres, folk music and experimental/modern directions. I'm a music teacher( flutist, pianist) that graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Classical Music). I teach flute or piano lessons to students of all age and level. Moreover, I have always loved different genres of music, so if you are interested in pop music, I am up for that too! To share my passion for music is the best feeling, I love to teach students how to play their instruments and express their emotions and musicality. I don't have the same program for all my students, as I think every student is different, learns differently, has different interests...etc. I learn to understand my students, get to know them, and work with them based off of those aspects.

This course will adapt to your level of play: simple harmonies for beginners and more complex depending on the degree of mastery of the instrument. I enjoy teaching both harp and flute at my studio in Worthing and also offer lessons online. I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification. Learning an instrument is a very rewarding and enjoyable experience and I teach students of all ages and abilities from complete beginner to advanced levels. Music theory will be integrated into the lessons and you will have the opportunity to take part in performances and work towards graded exams if you wish to do so or just play for fun! Each lesson will be tailored to the individual pupil’s needs, level, and style. I teach a wide variety of musical styles including Classical, Celtic, Pop, Jazz, and more!

This class is for students of any age who wish to learn the transverse flute. Learning an instrument takes time and commitment, but it's hugely rewarding - and it doesn't have to be boring! I have experience teaching students of all age and levels and I specialise in tailoring my teaching to meet the individual needs of each student. Beginner flute lessons are suitable for students learning from scratch or those already playing up to about ABRSM Grade 2 level. In beginner flute lessons, you will learn the fundamentals of making a sound and play your first notes, as well as the basics of reading music. As lessons progress, you will learn your first short pieces and maybe even prepare for graded exams. Intermediate lessons are suitable for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 3 to Grade 5 levels. In these lessons, you will build on what you already know to expand your abilities on the flute. You will learn more about different musical styles and techniques and develop more confidence to express yourself through music. Advanced lessons are for students already playing at about ABRSM Grade 6 and beyond. Depending on each student, lessons could involve growing more skills to take the advanced grade or diploma exams exams through to learning the skills to put together a recital programme or prepare for a music college audition. There is wide scope in these lessons to focus on your areas of interest, while still keeping an eye on the solid foundations of good flute technique and musicianship.
