Bonjour à tous ! I am Anne, I come from the beautiful and rainy Bretagne, in France, and I settled in the beautiful, and less rainy Berlin. As I'm myself learning German, I understand the struggles you face when you learn a new language. I know that it is sometimes hard to dive into this new world and how much a safe atmosphere is important when it comes to make this challenge self-rewarding and stay motivated. That's why, after a first meeting, we'll define together your needs and personal objectives, so that I can adapt my lessons. We'll answer two important questions : what goals do you want to achieve (focus on oral skills, pass an exam, understand verbs’ conjugation...) and how do you personally find motivation ? Positive emotions and motivation help us memorize better, like repetition. So, depending on which learner you are, we can resort to games, flash-cards, mind-maps, creative activities so as to solicit imagination and have fun... You can propose themes (and I have a bunch in stock), so that I build courses that would help you learning by working on subjects you're interested in. I'm a caring and enthusiastic teacher, you're more than welcome to try a first course with me, and see if it suits you !

Student in Berlin in master of philosophy, mention TB at the baccalaureate, I speak English and German, and I master Greek and Latin, I offer courses at all levels (primary, middle school, high school and adult) in French, English, literature and philosophy. Especially for French, I favor oral skills and gaining confidence in the language to be learned. Using videos, authentic written or oral documents, I hope that in each hour the four skills are implemented. Speak, write (active), understand text and understand audio. By operating in this way, with the help of textbooks operating by language level, I hope to encourage students and show them that a language can be learned, with gradual and well-defined progress! the goal is to learn little by little, and to trust each other!

Hello everyone! I'm offering french lessons for students of all levels (private lessons, tutoring, preparation for exams). I'm a former literary student (have a master's in French literature), I'm 24 and just arrived in Berlin. Last year, I studied and taught at Yale University in the US, where I finished my master's thesis. I have experience with students but also with children (I was a private teacher for elementary school children in 2014) as well as with adults (I gave integration lessons to Refugees in Paris, FLE, from 2015 to 2017). I was born in Paris, did most of my studied there (before going to Italy and the US). In Paris I did my studies in La Sorbonne and l'École Normale Supérieure (ENS). I've always loved teaching and my experience as a private teacher, a lecturer, a tutor, really proved me that I want to become a professor. I've taught french literature as well as french language per se, and I enjoyed watching my students make quick progress in a lively atmosphere :) I loved the bond I managed to create with all of them: a serious, yet friendly relationship. Of course, every student is different, and that's why every lesson has to be: I take particular care in adapting myself to the needs, characters and ambitions of my students. See you soon ! Marc

Hi everyone ! I'm offering french lessons for all levels students (private tutoring or exam preparation...). I am a 25-year-old philosophy and literature major. I arrived in Berlin three years ago, where I work as a freelance publisher. I was born in Nice but I have studied for five years in Paris. The first three years, I was in a very demanding and intensive literary formation (Hypokhâgne - Khâgne). I spent the next two years studying in "La Sorbonne" University where I had my Masters degree of French literature and Philosophy. I also gave french, geography, history and philosophy lessons in Paris for nearly three years. My students were 12, 15 and 18. I kept on giving private lessons when arriving in Berlin and have been teaching four children and young adults so far. I specially value the link we have been able to create with my students : a serious, rigorous, but also friendly atmosphere. My lessons are obviously adapted with the needs, the character and the method of my student. See you soon ! Sophia
