ONE TO ONE You come to my home or we can meet ‘on-line’ as I can offer fully Skyped facilities with webcam visual contact. You will make fast progress, not only because the lessons are intensive and tailored to your needs and as sole student, there is no one to hold you back. You will receive structured homework to increase your progress. This can account for up to 20% of overall learning. I assess and aim to cater for your needs, whether beginner, intermediate or advanced level. GROUP ‘EXAM BUSTING’ SESSIONS Several students learning together is a most effective way of bringing an added dimension to the class. Students in partnership often form a strong bond, motivating each other, and working well together. Six is my suggested maximum as it is vital to keep the tuition as intensive as possible. We practice written, listening and oral exam papers and can also iron out any grammar or vocabulary issues that are relevant to the particular exam at the appropriate level. MY APPROACH TO TUTORING I carefully assess where my students have gaps in their knowledge and then build on closing them through grammar and vocabulary. I therefore give my students the building blocks to create their own sentences in writing and speech. I work with their text books but also provide my own material to make lessons more interesting. I also use interactive material as well as focussing on past papers and oral exams to help gain confidence in the language. I engage well with all my students and make the lessons enjoyable and less like an extension of school. My conversation classes with adults are always fast-paced and fun, and my students very quickly widen their vocabulary and gain confidence in the new language.

Trusted teacher: - I specialize in tutoring French (my mother tongue) for school, students who need help for their courses. I'm an assistance for the students in difficulty with the French courses, or for those who just want to deepen their French training. My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I'm giving exercises, to combine pleasure and learning. I assign a bit of homework after every lesson and progression is the guiding principle of these classes. I will figure the student’s level out in order to bring him the necessary support in French. My aim is to show the subtleties of this language and make the student progressing at his own pace. - This class focuses on the founding principles of the French language : orthography exercises (for example : dictation in relation with an appreciated topic by the student), grammar exercises through games, practicing together via interactive dialogues, listening French videos, music. It can be related with current topics, to get used to the French pronunciation and the fluctuation of the language. Keep an eye on the societal topics is also very important to acquire a general knowledge on France and its customs. You'll learn and deepen your French training in a relaxed but also serious atmosphere. My goal is to guide you in the learning process, and come back to the basics if necessary. -If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, I master the French language in its entirety : indeed, it’s my mother tongue and I'm currently an undergraduate student, who did literary and language studies, during my three years of higher education, in France. I'm now deepening this formation there, in the UK, at Newcastle University. To sum up, my aim is to help pupils/students who need French assistance for their classes, homework, or to give a training for those who want to learn French ! I will instaure a nice atmosphere, so don't hesitate !

Anne
Anne is a very professional and structured teacher. She was able to immediately assess my level of French during the very first Skype lesson and adjust the materials and methodology accordingly. I am truly impressed with her patience and dedication towards teaching the proper French pronunciation as well as grammar. For the latter Anne has got a true skill in presenting and explaining the complexities of French language rules and exceptions. Using Skype is brilliant for those who have a limited amount of spare time especially that Anne is always connecting from her office using very good broadband – to date I have not experienced any problems with the connection quality. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend Anne and rate her classes as a truly five-star course.
