Do you want to learn languages? Practice conversational or written skills? I am a native Spanish speaker, and I have a proficiency level of English and a high level of French. I have significant experience in teaching these three languages to adults or younger students. I aim to keep students challenged and motivated while not overwhelming them. I try to achieve this through personalized classes in which students can decide the focus of their learning depending on the areas in which they wish to improve.

The French language is today unavoidable in this world in miniature where everyone communicates with everyone without moving a finger. My classes are more practical, because the latter is the best way to learn a language. Spelling and vocabulary will not be left out so you can easily write and read this beautiful language.

Immersive French courses / personalized instruction - I offer attentive and demanding teaching, but I am convinced that this is only really possible in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere - you learn better when you dare to make mistakes! - I do not believe that there is a single method or textbook suitable for everyone. Hence the importance for me of always getting to know my students in order to build an effective progression. - I systematically tailor my lessons to the particular needs of each student, depending of course on his or her abilities but also on his or her favorite subjects. - I ask the students to do exercises (lexical or grammatical) at home after each lesson, in electronic (pdf) or paper format. We systematically correct them at the beginning of each class. - The dialogue between the students and the teacher is very important. Not a lesson goes by without them talking about life and the events in the news... - I prepare for examinations (DL, DELF/DALF, TEF, TCF, CCIP, TELC, CIEP, LPE...) (La Parenthèse - French Language School - The Hague)

Classes tailored to you professional or personal objectives. We speak as much French as possible. The more you speak, the more you will improve your language skills. Conversations are friendly and enjoyable. We usually have fun! I use English as a basis for teaching French - as a non-Dutch speaking and a native French/English bilingual. Special focus on speaking, while improving both reading and writing. These sessions are conversation-based, supplemented with reading and writing activities. Emphasis on specific grammatical rules and items to correct recurrent mistakes. DURING CLASS I draw special attention to specific standards of contemporary French: -> Key phrases, word order, wording, register of language, use of specific grammatical items, idioms, intonation, pronunciation, and other tips and tricks. -> Interactive training focused on realistic contexts and topics you are interested in. -> Authentic course materials (official lessons and exercises, media, videos, press, films, etc.) -> Continuous feedback -> Support tailored to specific professional objectives.
