My tutoring is dedicated to students who are already attending Art Schools or Universities. I am specialised in supervision of student current work and projects in course, as well as revision of exams material. The goal is to boost students' capacities, teach them to optimise working time, coach them with methods of learning and to keep students constantly challenged.

The form of the lessons adapts to the specific requests, needs and problems of the student. It may include one or more of the following: - help with homework - proofreading/corrections of written work - revisions for exams, essays, courses - help with presentations, talks etc. - learning English through exercises and/or conversations I also generally help with: - organization of a work / review plan, with creation of a calendar, division of labor etc. - memorization: different techniques and advice - the methodology: how to be efficient in your work and in your reading, how to take good notes etc. - concentration and stress management - general advice My studies at university allow me to have access to rare and useful resources for learning English, which can enrich the courses. They also helped me to be more efficient in researching and citing useful sources for courses, dissertations, presentations etc. Lessons can be given at the student's home, in a municipal library, in a UNIGE building, or by webcam (for example via Jitsi, which is free, practical, and has always worked well with my students).

Good morning ! I am currently a master's student in general history at the University of Geneva. My studies allowed me to acquire a solid base of knowledge and skills, both in writing and in research. My knowledge of historical facts as well as Latin and ancient Greek will allow me, I hope, to be able to push the explanations given by the teachers in class and perhaps lift the veil on possible misunderstandings on the part of the students. The objective is to support students in difficulty as well as those who would simply like to consolidate their knowledge. In both cases, I am keen to be able to make the disciplines that I teach a little more digestible and to arouse students' interest in history, literature and the arts, to show them that not everything is not just a matter of stupid and nasty cramming, and that understanding always takes precedence over rote. It also seems essential to me to acquire a good sense of organization, which is the source of all effective and useful work. Therefore, if some students seem to be having difficulty with their homework and the organization of their lessons, I would be very happy to be able to help in this regard. Do you love Italian people, history, and food and you would like to speak the language? I am a CEDILS-certified Italian teacher born and raised in Florence, and I've also been a language student myself for a long time! If you want to be able to interact with Italians quickly, I can give you some tips about correct pronunciation, fundamental grammar, and vocabulary, but also Italian art and popular culture, which I think is fundamental to understanding the mentality and the country that you are going to interact with. Lessons will be tailored according to the student's needs, level, and mother language and focused on the conversation. I am also available to proofread your writings.

Are you learning Japanese but always wanted to know more about the culture and history? This course is to dive a little deeper into the culture and history - from the Early Modern Period down to the Contemporary Visual Culture. Tailored to your interests, we can combine language learning with relevant cultural topics. Literature in its widest meaning, including poems and music lyrics, or Visual Studies from traditional paintings to calligraphy or manga and animation films, and more. Drop me a message if you have a specific topic you would like to explore. The course will be in English; however, students are advised to have a basic understanding of Japanese.
