Dutch lessons for all levels. I am a very experienced teacher with many years of teaching. I am a Dutch teacher at the Regenboogschool in London - the biggest Dutch primary school in the UK, and teach the advanced students (13-18yrs). Furthermore, I also teach Dutch adults at the International House London and have taught adults at Cactus Languages for nearly 20yrs. I have taught hundreds of people over the years, so if you are just starting your journey or you are an advanced student that wants to practice the Dutch language, I can certainly help you. Need some Dutch for your work colleagues in Holland? Going to live in Holland and need your NT2? Want to speak more Dutch to your in-laws? Are your kids learning Dutch faster than you, and they're only just 2yrs old? Need help with your Dutch wedding speech? Want to order a "biertje" in a Dutch pub? Are you a lover of Dutch art? Finally, want to learn another language, and you think Dutch is fun? I can help! I am also a very experienced Dutch voice actor in London and have even voiced a Dutch Language course (available on Amazon). And hey, I have learned six different languages myself, so I very well know what it is like to learn another language. I only teach in person and not online, because I find this is the fastest way to learn a language. I am located in NW London, we can meet anywhere in central London. DBS checked.

My classes will be based on exam and course preparation; which includes GCSE, A levels, and IB. Since my expertise is in English Literature, I will be teaching English Language and/or Literature. I can help guide students in understanding how to approach a literary text and most importantly, teaching them critical thinking. I have access to various academic sources such as JSTOR and Google Scholar. I also have subscriptions to various sites such as LitCharts, which is incredibly useful for English Literature courses. I also have copies of my previous essays from my high school days, which will be helpful in using it as an example of how to write an essay. I don't believe that there is one way of writing an essay - and I don't want students to just improve by copying - but having a sample essay can be useful to break down why it received good grades and analyse what made it work. Having completed various exams when I did my GCSEs and IB, I've also become accustomed to taking exams and I understand that doing well on exams is just a matter of practice. Through my classes, I can teach students how to approach various exams, including: how to break down questions, how to structure your time, and how to plan essays during an exam.

Hi! I recently finished my GCSEs (English, maths, science, sociology, English, history, geography, theology, french) and l am currently doing my A Levels (sociology, English and economics). I’ve always loved learning and therefore want to help others feel the same :) My teaching methods can be adapted to the student. I love thinking of ways to break down topics to make them more manageable and clear to understand. This also makes things easier to remember and tackle long term. I’m very positive and encouraging and will keep you motivated :)

English is an essential subject but can grow to become extremely daunting for young students that struggle to get to grips with it. I specialise in tutoring primary school English students, assisting in creative writing, reading comprehensions and all aspects of exam preparation. This class will allow each young student to gain confidence in a difficult subject and improve their marks at school. I have tutored children who struggle with dyslexia, ADHD and many different challenges, so don't be put off if your child really feels averse to English!

I am an Egyptian native speaker and I teach standard and Egyptian colloquial Arabic. I have taught for a year at Johns Hopkins University in Bologna, Italy in 2014. I have had the chance to teach students from Europe, Asia and the US. This gave me a deeper understanding of dealing with students who have different accents. In the last 2 years, I have been teaching students and adults in London. Recently, I finished my Master’s in Film Directing at Central Saint Martins and I am currently doing my PhD in Film Studies in London. I see languages as a form of art that creates a way of understanding each other. I like to teach the language in a creative way that makes my students feel comfortable and eager to learn more. I enjoy working with students from different backgrounds. I am familiar with different textbooks (e.g. Al-Kitaab, Alif Baa and Ahlan wa Sahlan) and can adapt to the student’s level and what he/she needs to focus on.
