About Me

Je suis une jeune française de 25 ans, récemment installée aux Pays-Bas.
J'ai obtenu en France un baccalauréat littéraire et j'ai ensuite fait des études d'Arts durant trois ans et me suis reconvertie dans le milieu de la pâtisserie dans lequel j'ai été diplômée.
Très créative et curieuse, j'adore apprendre et partager mon savoir. Ayant toujours eu des facilités avec l'apprentissage des langues, je propose à mon tour d'enseigner. My belief is that each student is different and requires a tailor made lesson to meet that student’s needs and goals. Every class is personalised for your own profile and is adapted as needed. I give priority to conversation, convinced that even from the very first day, one can start to communicate in the new language and thus gain confidence to go on.

I base my courses on the four essential competencies: speaking, listening, writing and reading, always focusing on your personal goals and motivation. I progressively integrate phonetics, grammar, conjugation, vocabulary in the courses which always include practical exercises. You will also learn a lot about the culture as it is deeply linked to the language.

The pedagogic materials I choose are mostly created for native speakers : texts from literature, newspapers, radio podcasts, videos, songs.... Indeed, I am convinced that the learning process has to tackle « real subjects », as languages are alive and constantly changing. My main challenge is to help the learners to be able to « think » in the second language. The debate is the heart of my classroom, but always in a playful way, through many role games — for me learning a language is first and foremost a great joy !
